I said the idea it was football reasons didn't pass the smell test, and just one page ago you said it was for personal reasons.

Between us there is no gap on what it was for, it was for personal reasons.

I like how the cult also wants us to think Butler was benched because he was terrible that year.

Every player you watched was scouted by, chosen, and then taught something ranging from fundamentals to the finer points of each position. And not only do guys willing just make up crap to fling all over it. You get some twisted joy out of doing it.
