Yep. He was doing this last year and people wanted to ignore it. When the game mattered, he struggled with 233 yards. That's pretty bad. Here come Mayes garbage time stats
LMFAOMayo had a much better debut.
brady covered himWorked pretty well with Tommy. Maybe Maye sucks, or Maybe he's dumb or not ready for it.
He did a lot of this dumb **** last year.
I think Josh took a few years to become good.
I can hope, but I admit, I'm not expecting it.
Happened last year too. Doing nothing when the game matter and put 2 drives together down 3 scores when the game is out of reach. Today when we needed him to put the game away at the beginning of the 2nd and he turned into a pumpkinI knew some dingbat would ***** about this. Damned if he does and damned if he doesnt
I wonder it you would take Geno Smith starting the 1st game of his 2nd season to Maye? I remember that Geno Smith. You wouldn’t. Patience!I would take Smith over him in a heartbeat
Also a much better QB. Let's be honest.People talk about the commanders turn around last season. They had way more talent than we do right now. Also brought in a good offensive mind. The Pats only recently are getting the enema they need on the roster.
The media said this exactly not too long ago. They thought Maye comes across as an idiot.Worked pretty well with Tommy. Maybe Maye sucks, or Maybe he's dumb or not ready for it.

Would you rather them just run the ball and the clock out anytime the game is out of hand? What are you guys complaining about hereYep. He was doing this last year and people wanted to ignore it. When the game mattered, he struggled with 233 yards. That's pretty bad.
I agree. Whats he supposed to do? spike the ball?I knew some dingbat would ***** about this. Damned if he does and damned if he doesnt
I hate to say it. Because he is talented and a great CB.Some thoughts:
- I'm thinking Gonzo might be the most important player on this team. I called it when we were in preseason: coverage looked much better than it was because of bad play by receivers on the other team. Gonzo will slide everyone down and let people hang where they feel more comfortable. This will let the DL not have to be the playmaker every single down.
- Maye's decision making is rough, but when he's on, he shows a decent ceiling. We gotta get that floor up. Stop with the ****ing stupid accuracy issues.
- OL played better today than it has in a long, long time. Doesn't mean it was great, but it was serviceable. Run blocking could improve.
- Diggs doesn't seem to be back to speed, imo.
- Defense was wayyyyyyy too up and down. If you're gonna be aggressive, then you gotta be like Flores and be extremely creative. Otherwise, find discipline and leverage that for more interior pressure and use that to develop sack opportunities.
They have not used his mobility at all, feels like a mistake. Is Maye really a mobile quarterback?
I think theyre supposed to quit anytime the chances of winning are below 10. That would make everyone feel betterI agree. Whats he supposed to do? spike the ball?
