People laughed when some fans expressed reservations about this edition of the Patriots. I hope to see improvement and - especially - ascension in Maye.

The season is young and there is much football to be played. But for the moment, there is reason to have tempered expectations for this squad.

He has been over rated from the start with expectations too high. He is inaccurate with poor decision making and is not clutch.
He is OK. Unlikely to be a superstar in this league. His ceiling is probably Geno Smith

Absolutely shoukd have made him compete for starter’s job instead of handing it to him

Not everything is his fault. Last year it was a train wreck and the o-line is still garbage.

The defense with all their faults kept the game close, but this team needs to score more than 10…
Diggs has not made much of an impacted in this game for being the #1 guy…

You need to open up the offense, if they F it up so be it the dunk and dunk and off tackle runs are so easily predictable and get you nowhere
