This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Sure am. I’m watching a second year player that probably should have played more in the preseason. I’m watching a QB with his second HC and OC in two years and new personnel.
The NFL is more aggressive offensively now. The percentages on traditionally high risk plays has increased enough that it’s worth it. Sort of like how the NBA is a 3-point league now.
McDaniels is was too conservative. Works with Brady who will always make the right play. But if you play this type of game, it can quickly break out against you.
If you are a chess fan, we used to be Karpov. Ruthlessly efficient for so long teams would make mistakes inevitably and it would create a big advantage. Now the offensive attackers are good enough that it’s just harder to win that way
Imagine being the NFLPA and thinking that reduced practice is a good thing for players. Owners effectively drop the cost of a longer season by keeping their players at a subpar playing level for an entire month of the actual season, which affects your ability to negotiate a contract.
Most disappointing thing to me is how flat and poor the intensity and execution has been at the beginning/end of each half so far. I expect sloppiness, but need to play hard and smart for 60 minutes. One of Vrabel's major goals.
Some really nice stuff at times, but consistency isn't there yet.
