No college thread... But I want to say Manning had a better week this week. I know people love to poke fun at the hype. But he is still raw. And i see NFL talent there for sure. I still expect him to be the #1 pick not in this years draft but the one after.

If he stays on our team he keeps those 2nd round guaranteed numbers and needs to have a big role to justify them.

His deal was 4/$7M at #50, and wasn't fully guaranteed. [TreVeyon Henderson got 4/$11M fully guaranteed.] Yeah, he was a disappointment for a bunch of reasons, but the production needed to justify his contract wasn't 80/800/5 a year.

Game 5 the Chiefs play the Jags and the Chargers play the Commanders.

This would be the primary concern if i were kc. The offense did alright considering rice and worthy were absent, but by my count their defense made ONE stop all night. Hopefully they continue to get exposed against good offenses

Didn't get to see the KC / LAC game, but couldn't be more thrilled at the Chiefs loss.
We all knew Kelce should have retired, he's declining worse than Gronk did at his end.
Mahomes has bought into the media slobber for too long, so he thinks he can do it all himself - he can't.
After that game, Broncos and even Raiders have to be licking their chops. Chiefs schedule is TOUGH.
They could seriously go like 8-9, no playoffs... that would be fantastic.
