Including his ongoing tiffs with the Krafts, you almost have to wonder about Bill's Patriots Hall of Fame enshrinement. It's crazy to think about but some serious fence-mending will be necessary if this nonsense continues. BB and RKK aren't spring chickens while Bill just recently dissed Jonathan. Just imagine BB being a no-show at his own induction ceremony, or worse yet, Jonathan holding off 'til it's posthumous. Ugh.

Remind me of what he did with the Pats that compares to this. This does nothing but hurt his current players and hurt him in recruiting. He already had his age working against him, now every other team will be saying his pride matters more to him than their future.

I never have "enjoyed" BB being a **** to selfish ends. What I enjoyed about him was his ability/performance as a coach.

I ask you: what's to enjoy about him banning Patriots pro scouts from UNC? How is it positive or productive as far as his team is concerned? If anything, it's counterproductive and makes him look like a spiteful child.

How could you look at what Belichick has become and “not buy it”. Sounds exactly like Bill.

First he claims it’s “ fake news,” then he says “ we knew it all along,” yet he has a temper tantrum and called everyone “ haters” when we were saying that Belichick treats people like **** outside of coaching. But he’s right in one regard, outside of coaching Belichick is an *******, and everyone knows that.

Whining about owners sons and everyone getting in his way and blaming everyone other than himself for the way his NE stint and likely NFL career ended did it for me. Was cheering for him to do well but not anymore and now I’m glad Im not. What a whiny little toddler.

Though toddlers probably could win more than he did sans Brady.

I'm by no means a Bill hater but this is just getting sad and pathetic, you can't preach to be all about team first and the players when you pull a move like this.

This story is getting blown way out of proportion but it is notable in some aspects.

For instance, Penn State DOES NOT allow scouts to attend ALL practices or any practice they want. What Franklin does is set up scheduled "open workouts" throughout the year in which any NFL teams must register and are welcome to attend. In turn, players can choose to attend.

What Bill is doing is not unusual but the story is disappointing in the sense he has banned the Patriots but does allow other NFL teams to attend. That part is kinda getting glossed over but whatever. This story comes a day or so after Kraft says a BB statue will go right next to Tom's. Strange.

The hope is BB and the NEP can mend fences but I think we all know once BB feels he's been wronged, he's not the forgiving kind.
