Was that an added practice, not previously scheduled? Isn’t there a CBA limit on number of practices? Could that practice put them in violation the CBA? It would be just like the Jests to make such a blunder!

Just Glenn and the players running that practice = regression guaranteed. Hopefully more to come!

TFA says they got away with it because they called it a walk-through, not a practice. Such ****ery. Makes one wonder how many walk-through sessions a team can decide to drop into the calendar.

When I read "Quarterback Justin Fields ran the offense" then I had the same thought. Who thought this was a good idea? Who knows, probably the same people who thought signing Justin Fields in the first place was a good idea.

I really think this Jete coaching staff is their version of the Mayo coaching staff, and on the last day of the season they all get fired with everyone involved saying "what were we thinking when we decided to hire Glenn?"...

They have an experienced defensive coordinator in Wilks and that's pretty much it. Glenn was a good DC but this is his first time running a team. The OC, Engstrand, will be doing game plans and calling plays for the first time as well. Also, special teams coordinator Banjo has never coordinated before.

If their defense isn't top notch there will be no excuse. The Jete offense should suck.

with all due respect, it isn't possible for that collection of misfits to regress - since that implies they must decline from somewhere positive....

Not necessarily. The suckage is assured regardless, it's just to whatever degree.
