Matpu might be able to switch to LB in Vrabel's system and salvage his career a bit. LB is an area where the Pats are thin. He is more suited for that position in Vrabel's system.

I actually thought he looked better at safety the last 2 TCs then he did at LB this camp but since it's a switch in position I suppose there's a learning curve.

Funny thing is when we initially put him at safety I thought it kind of negated his value. A speedy but undersized LB seemed more interesting than a 3rd in the box safety to me at the time.

I think Vrabel hates the bottom of the roster and what we saw vs the Giants. I don’t think 53 guys from camp end up making the team, we will be claiming other teams cuts.
Guessing 49 stick and 4 are added. Not necessarily down to 49 today but by the end of the week.
