If they ask a good question he answers it, if they say something stupid he makes them wish they didn’t. He’s setting up the parameters for good press conferences because they know that if they ask stupid or redundant questions he will torch them, so expect much better questions at his press conferences.
With Belichick it didn’t matter if it was a good question or not, although he welcomed any chance to talk football history, he just hated talking to the press and made that clear at his pressers. Some of it was brilliant, e.g… “ we’re on to Cincinnati,” and some of it was just his foul mood stinking up the room. And ultimately I think the press just didn’t care anymore because they were tired of dealing with him.
I didn’t bother with Belichick’s press conferences after his first few years because they were tiresome, I think Vrabel’s will be must see tv. When you watch Vrabel’s teammates talk about him their reverence for his wit and intelligence is clear. Even Matt Light talked about how Vrabel was simply not the guy you wanted to get into a verbal sparring match with, and how hard Vrabel busted Brady’s balls in practice every day, which imo was just another factor Brady ended up using to his benefit, because if he could handle Vrabel’s trash talk he could handle any opponent’s trash talk.
Throwing the organization under the bus… pathetic
Unless you’re Bob Kraft and you go so over the top with it that you come out disliking him…..Sure, but that's what one expects when you have editorial control.
They learned a lot after that and seemingly forgot it all while Bill was running things and then have made a lot mistakes the last few years.
Felger didn't hold back as he called the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach "arrogant," "horny," and "delusional," to name a few.
"If he can look like this delusional, obstinate, completely arrogant, out of his mind, horny, old, half-nuts, old man and go 10-1 and go to the NCAA playoffs, that's a cool story," Felger said. "I'll take that story."
BB really is bitter these days isn't he.

He’s doing a great job torching that bridge back to the NFL.
Moving on from him should have probably been one of the most controversial and debated moves this franchise ever did, but the way it ended and the circus surrounding him now has mostly just validated that it was right to make the call to move on when they did. Mayo was definitely a mistake but even some of the biggest Belichick boosters in the media aren't willing to die on the hill that it wasn't right for the Patriots to move on.
In hindsight we should have ditched the coach.Moving on from Brady turned out to be worse.
When you're on the side of Felcher and Maz that should tell you something
Respectfully… you don’t know how it works in college these days. If a player leaves by week 3 (before he uses his year of eligibility) then he’s gone. There’s no “healthy scratch” since he’s off the team and already accepting offers from other schools. One thing you can do about it is make sure he’s been a healthy scratch for the rest of the season when you wave goodbye when he hits the transfer portal. And first have a conversation with him about how you only play players that give their best and how not giving his best will affect his value over the course of his career. In short, explain in detail the meaning of FAFO.
Those are the ones who are the most spoiled brats.Bill's parents must have been terrible raising such a despicable human being. How hard is it to raise only one child?

On gossip talk shows and with haters. His image otherwise is very high.Don't get me wrong here: I have the utmost respect for what BB accomplished in New England up through 2021. But you've got to admit -- if you look at things objectively -- his image since has taken a hit, mostly of his own making. And that coincides with Bunny entering his life.
