What makes you think that Phillips is a fit for what Vrabel and Williams are doing with the Defense?

Vrabel said they're playing a "3-4"If it's the 3-4 that Minnesota developed, it's the same type that BB called his 4-3 Under. With 1DE, 1NT, 1 DT. 1 OLB (EDGE) on the line. The other OLB played off the line and you had 2 "ILBs".

I don't think there is room on the team behind Williams, Barmore, Farmer, Tonga, White, and Pharms for the DL spots..

For the ILBs, You've got Spillane, Ellis, Gibbens.

For OLB, you have Landry, Chaisson, and Jennings, Swinton, Ponder all vying for time. Whether it's OLB or DE or Edge. (Note: I'm including Ponder based on Coach comments)..
