PATRIOTS TRAINING CAMP Training Camp Day 6 - July 29

He was one of the winners of their off-season award, for whatever that is worth. Not seeing reports of him getting beaten in the team periods.

I'm guessing Wilson will be the starting center at some point this season. Given Bradbury limped off today, maybe we'll see him solidly at center for a while.
Strange could be the Game Day backup at LG and C. That would be a reasonable role for a veteran in the last year of his contract.

If Bradbury comes back strong, it seems more likely that Strange would be traded (as a favor to him)
=============
BTW, who is playing at RG with the 2's?

So what are the chances that we end up seeing a left side OL: Campbell / Wallace / Wilson

And with reports of Moses, who knows how long he'll last at RT? Will it really be Jacobs again?
I thought Wallace would be the understudy at RT this year, but seems he's more consistent at LG?
Would that be a chance for Sow to try it out at RT too? Haven't heard much of him
Wallace ain't starting

Sow seems to be solid at LG and so does Wallace and wilson. Everybody other than Strange . I haven't anything negative or positive about strange this off-season. Not sure what to make of it.
Strange was an off-season award winner

I think I read it is Olay-den Robinson

probably not

However, one of the interesting camp stories so far is that Wallace is a keeper, and can be an adequate backup LG. Wallace can be a good Game Day backup.

It seems the odds are increasing against both Bradbury and Strange starting.

Wallace is Not a LG. He's Not a Left-side lineman, period; and putting him there is a waste of everybody's time. RT & RG are where All of his snaps should go, to compete with DT Jacobs for backup RT and with his fellow draft classmate Laydown Robinson for backup RG...

LOL.... "Laydown" Robinson is one of your better nicknames in recent memory

IIRC, it's Sow. The depth chart has been something like:

LT: Campbell, Bryant, Durant
LG: Strange, Wilson, Wallace
C: Bradbury, Wilson, Brown
RG: Onwenu, Sow, Robinson
RT: Moses, Jacobs - not sure on 3rd RT
Wilson has solidified the IOL's for this season. We keep 5-6 and we have 8 reasonable roster choices competing at the moment. Obviously, the IOL's are a work in progress with one more addition to likely to come in 2026.
==========
There is little point in discussing OT's. Obviously, we can't afford injuries there.

probably not

Personally I still see them both as starters. Wilson looks good but no need to rush things.

Just from what I've seen every time I think the OL has a bad rep I swear Wallace is at LG.

Wallace sucks. He's a Multiple-round misfire by the new/old boss. He's also a practice squad-caliber RT/RG Only.

Should be Wallace.

Reminder: THIS is the time when you try folks at other positions. THIS is the time when you throw the ball into crowds and test your limits. This is the time when you run plays you end up never using. Again, THIS is the time when to experiment because there is no downside.

I HATE TC stats. And I hate it even worse when they are taken seriously.

Someone reminded me of this yesterday when I was dogging Wallace at LG. Definitely agree with the point but also if a guy sucks while the team is trying him somewhere else it's still worth noting. And if he was killing at RT they probably experiment with something else at LG.

Even still I'm not writing him off.

Gotta let the TC roll, but IF our "for now" starter CBs can't handle the pressure of being NFL ready players, it might be trouble

Corners are one of those position that you can't really make up for lost personnel.

Great time to see what we have in those Back-ups.
No need to see, JayNM has already written them off.

I thought the corners held their own for most of practice today. Might have caught up to them a little at the end.

Marcus, James, Battle all had PBUs just from what I saw and I'm sure the tweeters had more.
