I dunno...it seems Torre is taking this a bit too far. What public records is/are he hoping to see? What does he expect them to reveal?

We already know BB empowered Bunny to do a lot of biz on his and the university's behalf and that seems to have calmed down.

IIRC, public university emails are considered public information. IOW yes, Torre can sue to gain access to Belichick's UNC email account.

In that interview with Florio he mentioned the unreleased 30 minutes of that interview. I don't know if he was referring to getting that or Bill's emails with FOIA. Definitely feels like he wants to capitalize on an opportunity in front of him here.

I'm sure that one got kicked around between PR people, executives and lawyers. Chances are good there is a paper trail. Whether or not FOIA requires them to release that level of discussion is a different matter.

I get it. He wants to build a brand as an investigative reporter and digging deeper into how BB enabled her and the level of friction that caused the UNC AD dept and UNC leadership is a story.

It feels like we already know enough already.
