The interview started with Clark asking Belichick why it was important to name Hudson in the “acknowledgments” section of the book. He explained that she had ideas for the book, such as addressing Tom Brady on page 199 (since he was the 199th pick in the draft) and Lawrence Taylor on page 56 (since he wore the number Abdul Carter recently tried to get permission to wear). Belichick also said that he tapped into the 24-year-old’s (possibly 23-year-old’s) extensive business acumen to dumb down the football jargon. (Typically, books published by major houses like Simon & Schuster will assign a specific editor who is on the payroll to, you know, “do your job.”)

Ok, Bill is whipped. No way you call someone out for such trivial BS unless they are your main squeeze.

The holiday spirit did not apparently stop a tense scene between Bill Belichick’s current beau and his ex last December at a Nantucket, Massachusetts party.

Linda Holliday confronted Jordon Hudson on the dance floor after asking the organizers of the shindig to remove her from the gathering, TMZ reported on Tuesday night.

After making the request to have Hudson removed, Holliday and two other women confronted Belichick’s girlfriend on the dance floor, where she was among 200 other guests of the event, according to security footage.

Carney said she observed “threatening body language and escalating aggression” from Holliday and one of the other women with her toward Hudson.

The staffer who wrote the report then said Hudson was asked if it was a good idea to be there in the face of the clear “animosity” toward her, with Hudson responding that she hadn’t done anything wrong and was just hoping to be at the “big party.”

This article the first time I've been sympathetic towards BB and Hudson amid this self-created mess!

Bill's Ex is the only one who embarrassed herself on this one.

The question for me is still whether Belichick's decision to now integrate his personal life and professional life (a departure from his past behavior) helps or hurts UNC recruiting and ultimately results in wins.

The case to be made on recruitment is that playing for BB gives you a boost in the draft or a foot in the door as an UDFA.

The degree to which NFL GMs respect Belichick's judgement is key to this.

While BB's most recent "success" as a GM/Coach in the NFL are most important to this, I doubt most NFL GMs would be thrilled if their current coaches appointed their wives or GF's to the same types of public roles that BB has given Hudson.

I certainly don't see Mike Vrabel and his wife causing any negative distractions.

What you wrote was "There are three things that I've seen over the years that have dramatically improved people's lives, mine included". Since "people's" is unqualified, it does imply all people. And of course a lot of us know some if not many people who have had bad experience with marriages, military service or exposure (sic) to religion, or all three. Glad it worked out well for you though. Seems like the common thread is other people telling you what to do, lol!

Realistically, how many 73 year old horndogs popping a 20-something hard body would want a 'redo' to where they never met them?
Don't misunderstand me, while I do find that age/body gap provides an unsettling visual best not contemplated I nonetheless admire his stamina. Me, I got barely enough energy and patience to survive the woman who tolerates me never mind one 50 years younger. I suspect I'd be yelling "Alexa shut it off!" quite a bit.

As it is I routinely tell Alexa to mute my wife and it keeps telling me "that device is unresponsive"

NE is like heaven in the fall.

It's a little different than when I was young. Back then I felt like we had 4 separate seasons that all lasted around the same amount of time.

Spring - April showers brought May flowers and it was an awesome feeling getting through the winter.
Summer - Warm showers with green everywhere and one memory of hailstones the size of golf balls.
Fall - Incredible colors and a touch of cool-cold weather.
Winter - Plenty of cold and snow. The fire dept. would flood the ponds up at the golf course and skaters would have all the skating they'd want.

When I wasn't there I was in NH.
