Really somber end to the season... I hope and pray JT recovers.. but this happened to Durant and he missed the entire next season.Dallas gets Flagg. Who would have thought...#corruption.
It's over, the team has alot to be proud of. Won it all last year, and 61 games this year. As I've said to @jimnance it's 2009 all over again health is the only thing that beat the Cs. This is probably the last we see all of the guys together in the final game Wednesday. It'll be like this the rest of the way. Just need to overcome it.
JT is gone for all of next season for sure. May not ever be the same.Really somber end to the season... I hope and pray JT recovers.. but this happened to Durant and he missed the entire next season.
Yes, unfortunately. As a fan I've come to grips that it over. We beat ourselves. Health played a part but we did more to ourselves to hand NY the series than anything. I hope the Pacers sweep them.JT is gone for all of next season for sure. May not ever be the same.
I hope indy sweeps the knicksWhen I looked at the matchups, Indy blocks a lot of shots, get a lot of steals and defend the 3 well. So far they have 28 blocks and 25 steals in 4 games and are holding CLE to 30% from 3pt. I didn't think Garland would be himself but I figured CLE still in 6-7 games.
...now Mitchell is hurt w/ the ankle. MRI is this morning.
CLE is in serious trouble.
It certainly is not looking good. It's over, the team has alot to be proud of. Won it all last year, and 61 games this year. Is a torn achilles confirmed? MRI is this morning.JT is gone for all of next season for sure. May not ever be the same.
I'm rooting for a indy/OKC finals.. Lakers, GSW.. we're able to do it becuase for the most part they had healthy teams during the post season...It certainly is not looking good.
Repeating as NBA Champs is hard. Period.
I'm a big Joker fan...Pulling for DEN.I'm rooting for a indy/OKC finals.. Lakers, GSW.. we're able to do it becuase for the most part they had healthy teams during the post season...
The team hasn't been right all year with health. We could withstand an injury to anyone except JT.. however I'm still proud of what they accomplished. They have nothing to be upset at.
Not confirmed. The TV sports doctors that watch the video replay say it is almost certainly a torn achilles based on movement during the injury. Is a torn achilles confirmed? MRI is this morning.
He turned 27 in March. He should be fine. Durant came back at age 32 and didn't miss a beat, really. But Kobe came back from one at age 36 and was definitely off and had to retire soon after but he had A LOT of mileage on his body at that point. Dominique Wilkins came back faster than expected from that injury as well and he was 32 I think I heard. But Klay Thompson missed a ton of time with a set back. Edit: Don't go to Klay's Doctor!!!JT is gone for all of next season for sure. May not ever be the same.
I do like Denver as well.. I wish Malone wasn't fired.. great coach. Indy is probably the most dangerous offense left heading to the ECFs.I'm a big Joker fan...Pulling for DEN.
JT hasn't missed the post season his entire career absolutely remarkable. However as you mentioned he has alot of wear n tear on his body.. injuries are inevitable in the sport. He's been an NBA iron man. As I've said prior this is the 2009 Celtics injuries did them in..He turned 27 in March. He should be fine. Durant came back at age 32 and didn't miss a beat, really. We'll see what happens in '26-'27 but this shouldn't occur to a someone at such a young age. Maybe it was the mileage. He's certainly played in a lot of games since he came to Boston. Playoffs every year and some conference finals and two finals appearances as well. Best of luck JT, Sr.
What do you mean?
i think it depends on the actual tear. If it's a clean separation from the calf/heel then he'll be back 100%. If the tear is frayed all over the tendon then it's a lot more difficult surgery and recovery time. Not confirmed. The TV sports doctors that watch the video replay say it is almost certainly a torn achilles based on movement during the injury.
OK. I don't see JB going anywhere. Time will tellI've seen people argue that JB's play led to this injury, and that this injury probably means that the "win now" window with this roster is done. Putting the two together, I'm wondering if this could, unintentionally, lead to his exit this summer.
They are going to have to get from under the luxury tax.. Brown, porzingas, Holliday... one of those contracts certainly projects to be moved.. Chisholm is a passionate guy and will want the team competitive. I know wyc is still heavily involved and I think he will still be involved with the team under new ownership?. You can fact that for me?.I've seen people argue that JB's play led to this injury, and that this injury probably means that the "win now" window with this roster is done. Oh yeah he done for next year as well. Thats why you do a complete reset. That means bye to Porzinga, Holliday, White and I really look what I can get from Brown. I want 5 1st picks for him. Build a whole new team around Tatum for '27. They could have a zillion high end draft picks that mean the world the modern NBA. Plus a top 3 player when he wants to be.Really somber end to the season... I hope and pray JT recovers.. but this happened to Durant and he missed the entire next season.
I've said myself we are unloading one of those contacts my bet is porzingas... we still have a solid nucleus of guys that still have some ball left in them.. there are some guys out there that can help the team especially in the paint.Oh yeah he done for next year as well.
