Nah Patricia was the worst OC hands down. Revisionist history to say this guy was good because the other guys led them to worse stats.

Tried to bring in a new system that was eventually scrapped because he couldn’t teach it, couldn’t get plays in on time (Pats T-2nd in the league that season in delay of game penalties) , had no clue about stringing plays together in sequence and with purpose, screen after screen after screen, audible frustration from his starting QB, receivers running into each other because their routes were designed that way, the whole thing was a debacle. Nobody on offense could say they got better with his coaching. Funny how nobody else hired him for the role and he’s now out of the league.

Try as hard as you will, Patricia's yards per game, points per game, etc., were better than BOB and AVP.

BOB did a poor job himself but at least he was a legit OC. The talent he had to work with was worse, the team was injured on both sides of the ball, the Patriots were starting backup QBs, and the division got harder.

Not MP’s fault he was set up for failure having no idea what he was doing, dude should have never been hired for the role.

All just excuses. Football is a results game, and BOB and AVP had worse results. Your attempt to justify otherwise is embarrassing. Give up while you are down.

The reason why I referenced Patricia was (1) that while better than the two succeeding offenses, it was still bad, ranking 17th worse in twenty years of Patriot offenses from 2005 to 2024, (2) the post I was attempting to make a humorous comment on, mentioned Patricia and not O'Brien or AVP. Perhaps Brandon_Cox is Jonathan Kraft or maybe any of the Patsfans posters who have continued to reference the ineptitude of the Patricia year as offensive signal caller.

OK. You singled out Patricia. You had the opportunity to make a balanced post discussing the offense struggles over the last three years, and you chose to highlight Patricia.

Your above response clearly indicates you understand that the Pats failed offensively for the last three years, but you decided to make an "anti-Patricia" post instead of being balanced in recognizing that Patricia, AVP, and BOB all have abysmal results. That has nothing to do with me. You chose to make your post even while admitting to knowing that AVP and BOB had worse offenses. I have no idea why you chose to make a unbalanced post and your response does not explain your thinking.

I didn’t think Bill could have tanked his legacy harder than his terrible record post Brady but this probably topped it. He looks small and weak. That interview was an embarrassment .
