The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

Its an interview not an interrogation, if she doesn't want to be part of the subject then she should speak up. Obviously Bill might have been willing to talk but she, rightly so, firmly said 'move on'. The entire reason for this is as obvious as the comments here. Why feed the trolls?

Yeah. This was a book tour interview and clearly the reporter asked some uncomfortable questions about Kraft and the relationship. So instead of getting happy Bill that we saw on McAfee or on inside the NFL we got press conference Bill.

That doesn't make some of Hudson's stuff less cringe worthy but it's also not that far out of the norm for Bill than people are making it out to be.

Initially, I was entertained with the thoughts of Bill smashing some 24 year old smoke because he's got money. Now we are into it a little bit and I find that my feelings are more like it's cringey. They can't have much in common, other than her running his socials and standing watch over the interview process. Not sure that Bill needed any help on handling the media in that regard, anyway.

I guess I am ready to move on. He's not the coach here anymore. We would not have had what looks like a successful draft like this weekend under his watch. Grateful for all he did, but there's a new sheriff in town.

We are on to Coach Vrabel. At least I am.

This might be weird, but I initially found it a cringey, May/December, thing. Like he was taking advantage of her. But now I'm starting to appreciate it as a really weird, functional work/life relationship. She clearly has abilities that she's bringing to the table and they're almost working in partnership.

Oh I think there's a work relationship aspect to them, 100%. I think it's clear that she's getting the much desired fame exposure and he's getting someone who makes him more relevant on socials. Any bedroom stuff is still cringey. Her on his arm in a gown, spilling out everywhere, the beach pics... all while he has that smirk that says he knows we know what the real deal is.

Agreed, but I think her being engaged in the work stuff makes it more interesting/less ick to me. That said, I am paying almost no attention to it or UNC. I'm a Pats fan.

Yeah same. When UNC Football is on TV this fall, I'll tune in, but I am not interested in any of the BS they are peddling now. Not buying it, avoiding the Sunday CBS thing. He's not our coach, don't really care what he's doing. I am all in on Vrabel and what they've done for the team this off-season.

I won't go out of my way to watch, but if they are on whatever provider I have at the time, I will, if I am settling in to watch college football anyway.

I'm a BB bootlicker as well and will also watch UNC. I also recognize he is not the coach/GM he was and needed to go. He has faults, and has does things like cheat on his wife and bang girls 48 years his junior that is just unbecoming.

Kinda like Larry Bird. Fact is Larry was a ****ty father and not the nicest of people but he'll always be a god to me.
