An annual PatsFans tradition . . . get claimed by your rookie binky/binkies here. [Sorry for putting the 7th rounders and the UDFAs on the same lines, but I only get 10 options. . . . Extra sorry for RLKAG fans.]

As ayjackson once noted, you don't pick binkies. Binkies pick you, so feel free to admit to multiple binkies.

I picked him as my draft binky so I got to stick with Borregales

Larrison and Henderson for me.

I've read a lot about Swinson post-draft & I don't understand how he fell to the 5th round. He has some of the best pass rush metrics in the class. It wouldn't surprise me if he plays 30-40% snaps as a rookie as their pass rush specialist on the EDGE.

As far as an earlier pick.... Wilson. I'm hoping for him to exceed expectations as simply being a starter and turn into one of the best IOL in the league.

As far as UDFA, I don't see how you can't like Larrison and Chism.

Can a high-round pick really be a rookie binky? Isn't part of the experience arguing that your guy has clearly outplayed the competition and earned a roster spot, while others scoff that there's always a camp phenom and Jakobi Meyers is nothing more than another Bam Childress?

Henderson and Dippre.

If Henderson is the home run hitter I think he can be, he’s the “game wrecker” I was hoping for out of this draft.

If Dippre is the in-line blocker I think he can be, they can make Campbell’s transition so much easier and free up the running game like we haven’t seen it for probably 10 seasons

When I hear "binkie," I definitely think of UDFAs first. But part of it is seeing a guy that you think will exceed expectations. So, while many see Wilson as a backup to begin his career, I'm looking for him to start day one and be a big difference maker.

I picked Chism before the draft and I'm sticking with him.

Again: binkies pick you, so, yes, even a first-round pick can choose you.

If memory serves, didn't you have Nate Solder as a binky?
Yup. and Vereen that year followed by Hightower the next. The one I was proudest of until this year was Shaq Mason who I loved throughout the draft process before anyone else was talking about him.

But my four this year, were, I think, the ones I'm going to be most proud of. I was in really early on Swinson and Williams when Swinson wasn't even being talked about by anyone in draft pundit land and Kyle Williams wasn't even on the PFF mock draft simulator. Now I just hope they all do well.

Yes, I'll never forget the way that Andy scoffed at me (and, boy, can he scoff!) for thinking that Benjarvus Green-Ellis would make the team.

This year, though, none of the rookies have tugged at my heart. Maybe that's because it's the pre-season games that make them leap out for me. If I didn't already hate Goodell for so many other reasons, cutting out the fourth pre-season game and making teams even less prepared at the start of the season would do it.

Or it may be that I already have my binky from last year, Terrell Jennings, and I want him to make the team, the new generation notwithstanding.

Am I allowed a free agent binky?

If so, Mack Hollins.
