Not known for his hands but handled the gauntlet drill just fine.
Blocking on the other hand is his bread and butter.
And if we picked with one of the 7th's, everyone would have been thrilled and we'd be in a bidding war with a dozen teams for the LS we need.
Great job again from the FO and we get BOTH
Good memory on the Kinchen.I wouldn't say that we NEED a LS unless there is an issue with Cardona's Navy commitment. Ashby gives then a 2nd LS for camp and a potential Cardona replacement. LS are known to play well into their 30s. Wasn't Brian Kinchen 35 when the Pats signed him because of injuries to their other TWO long snappers?
I remember Burke.. Solid player. Very Good blocker...Here's a blast from the past... he kinda reminds me of John Burke, who was Coates's backup for a few seasons in the early Bledsoe years.
Yea he does. AgreeHe's got a shot at TE3. Bell and Ricci are not guaranteed anything.
TB12s 1st career receiverFinally, the Rod Rutledge we've been missing.
I was wondering if we would see the return of the FB now that Mickey D is back. He’s a monster, looking up on him since he got drafted he seems to be a straight power player.
Maybe a TE3, maybe can be elevated to a goal line FB?
I already have him as the presumptive TE 3... that guy should have 100% been drafted. I don't see how any other guy we have could be ahead of him for that spot right now. I'd easily take the bet of him vs the field. He’s a monster, looking up on him since he got drafted he seems to be a straight power player.

This is by far my favorite UDFA signing. I know people are all hyped about the RB, but we NEED a true blocking TE. Neither Hooper or Hunter are particularly good at it, and I don't think the other 2 on the roster are physically able to be that guy.
This is a kid who has all the tools to be a solid inline TE and the ceiling to develop into a decent receiver as well down the road.
