QB Sanders not attending the draft

Here’s another Kiper meltdown, words don’t do it justice, he tries to list QB’s that were passed over yet mentions Peyton who went 1st overall… you have to see it:

Mel Kiper, the most overrated clown on the Internet.
The internet is vast. While Kiper may indeed be overrated, I think ‘the Internet’ is hyperbole. There is some crazy stuff out there, friend…

Who needs a QB ? Cleveland has two picks before #40. Would they bite ?

And it does a disservice to Mel. Mel's been doing his thing since before the internet was the internet.

Part of the problem with Shadetree is that Deon comes with him and there is no way that he can keep his yap shut. My buddy told me as a last ditch attempt to prove Shade has value Deon retired his Colorado number. How lame.

I don’t know, man. We know a thing or two about quarterbacks dropping in the draft here in New England.

The problem is that you know the father is going to be involved, and he plays a position where everybody in the organization has to be on the same page. Otherwise, you end up with a **** show like Aaron Rodgers.

When Mel compared him to Brady and said he could have a career like Brady I about spat my drink on the floor. Really? Comparing a back up QB to the Goat, what a clown.

Also I want to mention that so many of the forum experts claimed Sanders could go 2nd or 3rd, they must be listening to Mel.

What I think they meant to say is 2nd or 3rd round.

I knew I wasn't crazy. I just do not see first round talent from Sanders. He can obviously go on and have major success etc but ignoring the name and comparing his college career to someone like Bailey Zappe for example and mid round at best is where he should probably go. Zappe put up monster numbers and went 4th round. Sanders without the name and hype looks like a 5th-6th round prospect imo but I fully expect him to go in the second today.

In other news that I'm sure no one gives an F about, I had no idea Summertime (DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince) was sampled from Kool and the Gang's Summer Madness. Such a basic thing but maybe I knew and forgot it. Geez the former was released 34 years ago. I was born shortly after the latter.

Maybe Shadeur is a candidate for Mr Irrelevant ?

Imagine if the Saints took him last night or this weekend. The coach is probably already on the hot seat, before games even start the fans will be calling for his dad to be the next head coach, that would happen to any team that doesn’t have a well established secure head coach.

Should the Pats pick him up in the 6th round? There's a vacancy there.

Supposedly Sanders was an entitled and obnoxious primadonna in his interviews (is this true?). Since Sanders is now approaching the "backup" area of the draft, who wants a guy that will be on the bench but constantly agitating to be the starter? And with a father who would be constantly complaining to the press. A total major and not a team player. Worse than Milton.

The gold chains are getting bigger and those medals are huge.

Shadetree had the biggest medal yet.
