Running backs are a dime a dozen and not a position of real need

No I am asking you to explain why wingspan matters. What happens on a football field to a LT that is dependent upon wingspan.

There is no trend. There are a bunch of football players and this guy happens to have a fraction of an inch shorter arms. That fact has nothing to do with his ability to play the position. If it did you could say why.

What if he had the biggest nose ever for a LT? Would that disqualify him? It’s the same thing, a coincidental immaterial fact.

I have never back tracked on anything I say, I will state same thing today, tomorrow and in 10 years until someone can show me why wingspan matters. No one has. No one even tried.

25 years worth of evidence to back up the claim. You know better though. Either way, enjoy the night guy, tonight isn't the night to fight with everyone who has a dissenting take to you.

That simply is not true, in fact it's ********. While Wellington Mara was very hands on when it came to the ops side of the business and had a strong hand in league,affairs, it was well known he didn't meddle with the personnel side of the Giants. His faith in George Young was legendary, t the point he went to 'war' with his nephew over it. In Wellington Mara's 45 years as principle owner he had 4 GM's. The highly respected Young, his longest serving GM, sang his praises as an owner.

John Mara's meddling tendencies (such as they are) aren't hereditary, they are all on him.

That's not the way I remember it. Wellington made one terrible first round draft pick after another and for years the Giants sucked . The difference was when Tim Mara came onboard and forced Wellington to stop mucking up the draft and got a professional GM in George Young who kicked Wellington out the draft room and had one great draft after another. After Tim and George Young left, it was Wellington and another meddler in Tisch---the first round picks sucked for years and years. Now they have John Mara trying to mess things up up. I hope he does again this year...

You are too literal and can not be pleased. You clearly don't know what nuance is.

No one said he CANT turn out great. Not one person here is saying that.

But it's a fact that he is fighting a uphill battle. For you to dismiss it outright is ludicrous.

There's always a trade down, just depends if you live with the return.

If for whatever reason I had to stick at 4, I'd take Membou or Egbuka, or live with walker.

But I reject your premise that there's no trade down.
