I think Henderson is the BPA at 38, so unless Egbuka, or Walter Nolan or another higher rated prospect drops I would go with him. Ultimately I think he would upgrade their offense the most. Then I would package the 2 3rd rounders to move up for one of the receivers. However, if some of the OL drop I wouldn’t be unhappy to see them double dip.

I changed my vote to Burden. The ceiling is Deebo Samuel IMO.

A list of picks I'd be happy with in the 2nd round (not in order):

Tyleik Williams
Darius Alexander
Donovan Jackson
Tate Ratledge
Grey Zabel
Tyler Booker
Treveyon Henderson
Luther Burden III
Jaylin Noel (would prefer the 3rd)
Kyle Williams (would prefer the 3rd)
Jack Bech
Jayden Higgins
Tre Harris (would prefer the 3rd)
Nic Scourton
Bradyn Swinson
Mason Taylor

I'm sure they'll manage it, but it's really hard to mess up the 2nd round pick, there are so many good options for potential/future starters. Unless they want Burden, Henderson, Zabel or Scourton or their pick of the WRs, it also makes a trade back appealing too.

That's why you need to rank them. And I know we all have our own boards but for me it's...
1)Burden
2)Zabel
3)Donovan (Smith?)Jackson
4)Harris
5)Scourton

Then I'd consider trading down.

Thanks. Edited.

I won’t bother ranking them, I’ll just wait until my final mock before deciding.

Higgins is every bit as good as Coleman or Legette and Noel is better than Pearsall in my mind. All three guys went in the 1st round last year (in a stronger draft). We’ll need to take one of these guys at 38 if we like them.

I struggle with who to prioritize at 38. I guess I'd lean towards WR.

I'd like an X WR and a we don't have a true slot either, but not sure about drafting two WR this year.
I like Noel (not an X), Tre Harris and Higgins in that order.

I think it’s pretty simple. If they go LT at 4, draft an explosive WR at 38. If they are lucky enough to draft Hunter at 4 (extremely unlikely), draft a LT at 38.

it's a deep rb draft, let's wait until round 4 to select one. If scourton, Zabel, Noel, Higgings, Harris etc. is available at 38 there is no way I use that pick on Henderson

Zabel would give me pause but I think I have Henderson higher on my board than those others. I’d take Henderson and then probably trade up from 69 for a WR. Williams and Bech are my preferences, but I like those you named too.

Ozzy or Grant should be there in the 3rd.
At 69 Ozzy is 59/50 at best. Teams know we have a hard on for him. Remember last year and that Notre Dame RT the Texans took?

We have to get the OL tougher and more talented. Sidy Sow, I’m looking at you.

If that's the case than bad on us for tipping our hand.

I'd love to have both Campbell and Trapillo.

Depends on what's available. Im not limiting us to any position even another OT. We all know Will is not a lock to be the longterm LT.

Hard to say who will be there.

In order (and depending on who we pick first) I'd say..

Josh Simmons - OT - injured but top tier OT.
Luther Burden - WR - risky but has absolutely elite stuff if he can figure it out. Like I think he along with Hunter are the only guys who have a chance to be top 10 WRs in this league.
Grey Zabel - OT/G/C - I think his ability to play OT is underestimated, and he can be a truly elite guard. The kind of guy you like at 38.

(I have first round grades on all the above)

Josh Conerly Jr - OT - May have to move to guard, but he had a good 23' and pretty good 24' too... Just a bad senior bowl. His main knock is he can't anchor, but strength is the one thing you know can be improved. Particularly considering he is only 21.
Emeka Egbuka - WR - I like him but i see him more as an elite #2 than a #1.
Emery Jones - OT - maybe he can be a starting LT... but i feel less sure about it.
Herald Fannin Jr - TE. I don't care who he played against last season 1555 yards is damn impressive in a single year for a TE. Right now going by draft boards, he's more of a late 2nd round guy... but i think he's being underestimated. So wanted to pump his tires. Frankly I am surprised he isn't higher up draft boards... should probably be a top end 2nd rounder... maybe even a first rounder. If you doubt look how he dunked on Penn State. Dude can't block, but he has speed, quickness and hands, and while he may never be Gronk, great TEs can be bad blockers as long as they can catch.

In fact I will make a bold claim... if Fannin is the best TE to come out of this draft, I will not be at all surprised.
