In no particular order, here's a few draft prospects I really love that are projected to go in rounds 4-7 or undrafted.

1: Jamaree Caldwell DT, Oregon
A big boy nose tackle, who's draft stock was damaged in my opinion by transferring from Houston to Oregon. Oregon just wanted him to stuff runs and occupy blockers, but at Houston he got after the QB plenty too. Young, with room for development, and extremely powerful. Dude doesn't get moved backwards ever.

2: Marcus Yarns RB, Delaware
Good size and speed, great hands out of the backfield. Not very elusive, relies on speed and power a bit too much. Ran a more extensive route tree than some receivers in draft. Very willing blocker.

3: JaCorey Brooks WR, Louisville
Really aggressive WR, decent size and speed. Competes on every single snap, even when he knows the ball isn't coming his way. Good YAC, a hard man to tackle. Needs to be sharper with his routes, but he's a fun watch.

4: Thomas Gordon TE, Northwestern
Arguably the best blocking TE in the draft, and although he wasn't targeted much, he showed he can be a good option in the passing game too. Not going to get much YAC, but has good hands

5: Carson Vinson OT, Alabama A&M
Will probably be an UDFA, but I think there huge potential there. Really good movement skills, built well with long arms, but, the issue with him is his play strength and mentality. He gets to the block and then just kinda stops. Lacks a finishers mentality, he's almost submissive once engaged. Play strength is nowhere near what it should be for his size, and I think it's a mental rather than a physical issue. But if he could develop a bit more aggression and nastiness he could be a beast. Was going to mention Ozzy Trapilo too, but I already made a seperate post about him in the LT thread

Good list! I especially like JaCorey in a thin WR class.

I could rattle off dozens of names but I won't for now lol

Good idea for a thread.

My list:

1. Don't Thornton, WR, Tennessee

A bit of a projection because there's a lack of production, but he's an ideal threat in the play-action offense I think Vrabel will run. He's 6'5" and runs a 4.3 forty. If he's there in the 6th or 7th rounds, I think he's worth the risk.

2. Jaylin Lane, WR, Virginia Tech

Insane athleticism and makes ankle breaking cuts. If we want a slot and we miss out on Jaylin Noel, this is the fall back. This applies to Chimere Dike also.

3. Logan Brown, OT, Kansas

I'm really struggling to find the negatives for Brown other than lack of experience. He has the ideal OT build, including 34" arms, he grades really strongly in pass pro as well as as both a zone and gap blocker and the tape I've seen is strong.

4. Jaylin Smith, DB, USC

I've been searching for a DB/FS hybrid type player and chose Nohl Williams from Cal as my preferred candidate, but Jaylin Smith has been a possibility for the role. He has experience in almost all the DB positions but probably projects best at nickel, he is excellent in run defense which I think is a must have in a Vrabel defense.

5. Ty Robinson, DL, Nebraska

I'm not going to repeat myself on him except to say that as a projected late day three pick, the value here is excellent.

6. Dylan Fairchild, OG, Georgia

Ditto

7. Craig Woodson, S, Cal

Ditto

8. Cam Jackson, DT, Florida

Historically, Vrabel hasn't prioritised the DT that player that plays alongside the feature DT on his DL usually bringing in UDFAs for that role. Jackson is a projected 7th rounder/UDFA. However, he is a mammoth at 6-6, 324 lbs and 34" arms with very strong run defense grades. He'd be excellent as backup/long-term replacement for Tonga.

Yeah, I could probably go 20 deep with this, but I don't want to bore people!

I came very close to including Nohl Williams and Dylan Fairchild on my list

Don't Thornton, WR, Tennessee

Arian Smith, WR, Georgia

Trevor Etienne, RB, Georgia

Bru McCoy, WR, Tennessee

Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon

Tai Felton, WR, Maryland

What do you all think of J.J. Pegues? DT/FB Yes, he plays both directions..
I'll take anyone from that front 4 at Ole Miss.

But yeah former TE so he's got some athleticism. Unfortunately he's just buried in this class of a DEEP group. The flexibility to play offense should definitely appeal to Vrabel.

I had him in my predictive mock. What I like about him is that at 325lbs he can be stout enough to play the run but is versatile across the whole of the defensive front so adds versatility too.

Some guys I like

- RB Marcus Yarns (RB) Delaware. Good receiver with solid size (5'11" 193). Won't be an inside pounder but can be solid with a few carries a game operating mostly as a 3rd Down Back (more James White 2-3 carries a game than a Shane Vereen who'd get 5-7). I would like to see them target him if he ends up being a UDFA.
- Fadil Diggs (DE/OLB) Syracuse. Productive, good size (6'4" 250+) and a Team Captain at Texas A&M for 2 Seasons then a Team Captain with Syracuse.
- Nikko Reed (CB) Oregon. Just a dog, very competitive, plays bigger than his size. A lot of talk he may have to be a Slot CB but I think he could hold his own on the outside. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up going in like the 4th or 5th Round, he's the type of player that GMs/Scouts may like more than fans/media who think he's a 7th Rounder/PFA type.

That pick would get Daniel Jeremiah excited.
To be fair to all the older prospects, once Robinson was turned down for eligibility to play for UCLA, he was able to receive Social Security benefits due to his age.
