2025 Draft: WRs

When I saw Javon Baker last year: I compared him to Brian Thomas Jr thought he was going to be a Steal. I knew Baker would fall through the cracks...it happened but his abysmal Rookie season was very disappointing. Was it our abysmal Coaching?? Learning curve?? We'll know more in TC 25. That said I would bring in Two WR's from this Draft: one can't be too sure.
Rumor was that Baker can not read. Could not line up correctly, think Ocho Cinco. Even Maye said in his interview that the new WRs need to line up correctly (paraphrased).

If he can't line up correctly in a McDaniels Offense his time here will be very short.

Draft stock tanked

Lacy now Bond off our WR board you can't make these things up with some of these guys. Great timing for both hope they paid attention in school.

It is hard not to feel badly for a guy that went to college and can not read. WTF.
Heard that before remember Dexter Manley Washington Redskins many moons ago?? At least he was a very good Football player. Really hope Manley learned to read after his successful NFL Career.

Crikey. Is this the most athletic WR in the class?

he can only hurt his value so that would make no sense.
Again, from his prospective, I get Hunter not testing, but teams are entitled to read what ever they want into him not doing the 40, cones, etc.

if they choose to mark his not showing off his athleticism as a demerit, I can understand it. They do those drills for a reason, and historically even the very top prospects have chosen to show off attributes they are confident in. Is he not confident in his 40 time? That’s a legit question teams can have.

Maybe it does not know him down a slot, but you would normally want him to do the 40 and crush it.

Very sad.

I know it hasn't been confirmed yet but speculation is suicide obviously.

What you and I want is irrelevant lol he's going to listen to his agent.
