Draft Binky

Love Willie Lampkin, he was my original binky, but I went with Hawes because I thought he is better suited to playing in space.

Kyle Williams
Bradyn Swinson
LeQuint Allen
Cobee Bryant

Someone might be missing, bud.

I have 2 and both are LBs: Danny Stutsman who is fast and can cover out of the backfield and Jeffrey Bassa who has Captain written all over him.

You know who I am talking about
Is this about Shemar Stewart? He's never been a binky of mine, I like him more than some but he's nowhere near the level of binky.

Ok fair.

Just picking at random here but here we go.....Cam Skattebo...RB Arizona State

This is going to be one of the most interesting choices in this draft, Skattebo has been ranked all over the place throughout the process, starting out as low as a day 3 selection, but he has made steady progress up most draft boards. He will probably end up going mid 2nd round to early 3rd round.

Isaiah Bond or Trapilo in the second round

Arian Smith is my Beankie (late Day 3 pick). I'm sure anyone who follows GA football would probably groan because of all the drops (and injuries... and that fumble in the Senior Bowl... ), but I like this kid and his attitude.

Edit: Also Isaac TeSlaa. For the mullet (...ish). Former HS QB. Unique specimen with huge ceiling. Very strong, smart, and agile. Great 40 for his height. 2nd best acceleration for a WR (3rd overall) during Senior Bowl week (to Tai Felton who would be a Beankie but he's not making it to Day 3, imho). Gives me Jakobi vibes but with way more top end speed and athleticism in general. Edit2: Just found out he supposedly had no drops on 60 targets... alright he's my main Beankie.

CJ West and Mitchell Evans

West has been covered plenty here.

Evans just feels like will be a better pro than college player. Had some bad injury luck but finished strong. Doesn’t jump out athletically but is versatile and no real faults to his game. Would be a fun TE3 candidate to add to the mix.

Tai Felton
watch the tape

I can’t really adopt a binkie this year.
The pain is too great to watch them go elsewhere.

Darien Porter

Dorian Strong,

We are pretty set at DB but long lean corners who are good in coverage, with porter being a wr prior can play the ball great.
That is the beauty of fantasy football, I end up drafting all of my offensive binkies.

Ok, let’s hear them . Every draft the people who are really into the draft end up with one player who isn’t on the Day 1 or 2 radar, their binky. This year mine is Jackson Hawes TE, Georgia Tech. Given the need to protect Drake Maye, as well as adding punch to their run game, Hawes is the guy that I think fits them best to fill this role. ( originally it was Willie Lampkin OL UNC.) They could use him to be Maye’s personal protector on passing downs, and offset weaknesses on the OL, or make him a lead blocker on a power run game. The only projection for his draft position I could find was 5th round, so I would love to see them take him in the fourth round. Don’t screw around, get your guy.

Hawes was put in a tough position with Georgia Tech having to replace Dylan Leonard (NFL), Luke Benson (NFL), and Brett Seither (injury) were all missing from the 2023 team and for anyone that is familiar with the Yellow Jackets offense, they know how important tight ends are to how successful the running game is, as well as being the occasional pass-catching threat. Hawes took that challenge and was one of the best run-blocking tight ends in the ACC which got him invited to the Senior Bowl in Mobile (AL), where he played well in. Hawes played a big role in the Jackets ranking among the top 35 nationally in rushing offense (187.0 ypg) and the top 5 in fewest sacks allowed (0.69 pg)last season.

Post those binkies, and maybe some information to go with them.

You know I didn't even think of getting an elite TE to help if there are no true LT they have hard ons for. That's an excellent idea...and binky...count me in.

I'd prefer a K with more experience kicking in the cold/wind.

So long as he is not taken too early...and has no questionable tats....

I would say mine would be OT Kelvin Banks and OT Charles Grant as a true LTs. From what I have seen they both look excellent and fit the gaping hole we have at LT....
