Ok, let’s hear them . Every draft the people who are really into the draft end up with one player who isn’t on the Day 1 or 2 radar, their binky. This year mine is Jackson Hawes TE, Georgia Tech. Given the need to protect Drake Maye, as well as adding punch to their run game, Hawes is the guy that I think fits them best to fill this role. ( originally it was Willie Lampkin OL UNC.) They could use him to be Maye’s personal protector on passing downs, and offset weaknesses on the OL, or make him a lead blocker on a power run game. The only projection for his draft position I could find was 5th round, so I would love to see them take him in the fourth round. Don’t screw around, get your guy.

Jackson Hawes 2025 NFL Combine Results:

Height: 6’ 4 1/2’’

Weight: 253 lbs

Hand Size: 9 1/8’’

Arm Length: 32 1/8’’

40-Yard Dash: 4.83

Bench Press: NC

Vertical Jump: 34.5’’

Broad Jump: 10’ 1’’

Three-Cone Drill: NC

Hawes was put in a tough position with Georgia Tech having to replace Dylan Leonard (NFL), Luke Benson (NFL), and Brett Seither (injury) were all missing from the 2023 team and for anyone that is familiar with the Yellow Jackets offense, they know how important tight ends are to how successful the running game is, as well as being the occasional pass-catching threat. Hawes took that challenge and was one of the best run-blocking tight ends in the ACC which got him invited to the Senior Bowl in Mobile (AL), where he played well in. Hawes played a big role in the Jackets ranking among the top 35 nationally in rushing offense (187.0 ypg) and the top 5 in fewest sacks allowed (0.69 pg)last season.

Post those binkies, and maybe some information to go with them.

Is he the guy some call the best blocker among all players, better even than every offensive lineman in the whole draft?

If so he is also my binky.

I think so, but there are so many draft sites that it’s hard to know who is saying what about everyone. The people I listen to, like Jeremiah, Sikkema etc… are really high on him as a blocker. Basically he’s a beast, and If MacDaniels is transitioning his style of offense to a power run component then he would be a perfect fit for that.

Savion Williams in the 4th
Pat Bryant in the 6th
I really like Pat Bryant as a later round possession X receiver. He doesn't win with speed (4.6 forty) but is excellent at the catch point and great body control. He had three game winning TDs in the final seconds of regulation/overtime last season and only one drop.

Excellent choice of binky.

Tai Felton
watch the tape

I can’t really adopt a binkie this year.
The pain is too great to watch them go elsewhere.

Darien Porter

Dorian Strong,

We are pretty set at DB but long lean corners who are good in coverage, with porter being a wr prior can play the ball great.

Ozzy 'Crazy Train' Trapilo

Thanks Manx, I’m looking forward to seeing who you go with, and the other choices overall. Patsfans has an excellent draft forum, so there should be many good choices, and they should help inform everyone on good prospects available in later rounds.

If you could add some information on them it would help others see what you like about them.

Kyle Williams
Bradyn Swinson
LeQuint Allen
Cobee Bryant

Damien Martinez - RB Miami

One of the most underrated RBs in the draft.

Willie Lampkin, late. Probably not that late, because everyone's gonna want him R7.
