Patriots Player Departure BREAKING: Joe Milton traded to Dallas

The AFCD against the titans in 2019-20 they kept chucking it down field to Hollywood brown.. getting away from the run game.. leading to turnovers.. same thing against the Chiefs in the AFCCG.. they kept trying to hit Bateman and flowers when it wasn't there.. getting away from what they do best... so yeah.. pla y calling. BB never kept doing the same thing that's not working in big games.. he would veto a play call. I agree LJ does try to do alot on his own. With you on Buffalo.. give Vrabel Allen instead of tanenhill in 2019 titans get to the superbowl.
That's not potentially playcalling per se. An OC can call the play but the QB can make a dumb decision on a read, call and audible, etc.

Vrabel is trying to set a culture. Can’t have the backup QB squabbling about an open QB competition. Vrabel made the right call.

#5 invalidates this list.

Dak Prescott? ****ing seriously?
Agree. It lost all cred.

This seems reasonable...

Burrows
Allen
Mahomes
Hurts
Jackson

Based on his recent numbers, Goff should be there i'm not doing that

Daniels and Love are knocking on the door.

Agreed there .. I'm just alluding to the fact the same plays keep getting called and if it's not working the HC then needs to change it up. If The defense is playing the pass then go short passes or screens, passes out the backfield. BB was mic'd up in 2018 telling Josh what he wanted when the pass wasn't effective.

True. And now it is over.

It has been so for years now.
Right. And I mentioned it in response to a poster calling this a crap organization.

Are you saying the org is crap because of the last 5 years? I'm looking at the big picture.

It's not a given that Maye will be a good QB. Why trade a guy for peanuts? He is a better backup than whoever they have now.
Upon further review, I agree with the Pats decision. The Pats got it done before players got together because the guy's a locker room problem. Otherwise they would have hung onto him to see if his value went up.

Lamar would have been a great post Brady transition plan. The genius had no transitionplan. Would have taken 2 years ti transition to new offense.
The genius had no vision fir future.
Are you trying to tell me you would rather have Drake Maye than LJ?
The issue is Milton probably would’ve replaced Jackson this season as the starter.

So the going consensus is that the Pats traded Milton to alleviate any threat to Maye?

If so, oofta.

That's an anti-Belichick move.

Belichick constantly put competition right on Brady's heels. I think its part of why fueled Brady.

I only saw him one time but was very impressed. I would have kept him.

As long as Williams isn't coaching Drake instead of Josh.. I like his potential

I am saying that over the past five years, or a little more, this team has not been well-run. I would extend this critique to the GM function, to head coaching, and to ownership. To be honest. I would put this "take" in the patently obvious category. Whether changes to date are enough to solve the problem remains to be seen. This seems obvious to me as well, frankly.

Remember I said prospect. Mainly because of his physicals attributes. Nothing more and I am familiar with Michal Bishop.

its ok, we will use this 5th from Dallas to get Travis Hunter

Patriots drafted a QB on day 3. Therefore, logically the Patriots have a superstar on the bench because Tom Brady. Lol
