Stefon Diggs visiting Patriots

Moss wanted a new contract in 2009 for big money. Bill told him no. He wanted one again at the start of 2010. He was 33 and his play and effort were in decline. Bill said no. He sulked all TC and the start of the season. His effort became even more lacking and it came to a head vs MIA. Week 4. He was dogging it and Moss went after O'Brien at 1/2 time telling him his play calls suck. He was traded.

Branch wanted more money. Age and level of play weren't the issue here. Bill didn't think Branch was worth the money he wanted. Pats offered 3/18 8m in guarantees and SEA gave him 6/39 13m in guarantees. He was 27. He held out of camp and didn't dog it on the field like Moss.
how much was moss looking for, dyk

This guy is no way near as wack as AB but nowhere near as good but I think if they could deal with AB, they could deal with whiney. He could be looking to reinvigorate his career and this could be the place. Maybe him and Baker could yap at each other about how good they are and it’ll create a vortex of excellence and entertainment….more the latter I’m sure.

Your experience with him is definitely different than mine, but to each his own
Yeah, he kind of ignores me.
Jay, you either have a broken satire-sarcasm meter or you play that game so much better than 1960Pats that you got me.
I don't play games and have no idea what you're talking about.

But I heard on the radio a hundred times he won’t ready to practice by week 1

Maybe he met him thought he’s a chill guy doesn’t mean we are signing him even though we should.

We will pry hear about him doing more visits before we hear of a contract.

I'd be more impressed if he had the foresight to tie his shoes before this demonstration.

**Bonus points for remembering to take off his shirt off though**

Is this report legit?
Said Diggs wants 25 mill and the Patriots offered 20
no way this is real right?
He made 22 mil last year. Now he’s a year older and added a torn ACL. Realistically that number should be closer to 15 than 25.

I was thinking 12, is this report legitimate though?
25 mill for a 31 year old wr seems like crazy talk to me.

In addition to the 'report' showing Diggs' 2023 stats with Buffalo as his stats for 2024 (when he played in Houston) it also states 'Diggs wanted $25 million a year, per ESPN, while the Pats balked at topping $20M' Of course there's no link to ESPN's reporting because it doesn't exist. Neither ESPN nor any reputable source has posted anything regarding contract $ negotiations between Diggs and the Pats.

This clown isn't a crumb of bread, never mind a grilled cheese sandwich

It seems like crazy talk to you because it is made up ********. I find it hard to believe you lend it any real credence beyond it providing a button you can push smdh

A button I can push?

Can you elaborate?

My thoughts as well. Seems very high for a player who is coming back from a serious injury and is 31 yo
Odell Beckham coming off a bad knee injury, he missed the 2022 season... in 2023 he picked up a 1 year 16 million dollar contract from Baltimore... he was 31... didn't do very well... but he was kinda on a downward spiral since 2020...

Does it look like it ?

After 1,183 yards and 8 scores with Buffalo in 2024, he’s the prize of a thinning free agency pool. Where’s he headed next?

25m is very close to the 22.5m he was getting from Houston...

a long as the knee/rehab schedule checks out, I would have zero qualms about 25m a year for him...

and in all honesty, i'd rather fork over a few extra dollars for diggs

Its the better alternative compared to giving up a draft pick and paying aiyuk's bloated contract
