1 year deals leave the team in a bad spot very soon, if it is to sign him get a 2 year deal at least. If he is 29 makes sense for the player to sign a one year prove it deal, now at 31 he may want the security of a 2 or 3 year deal.
Disagree completely. They are brining in band aids right now, not long term starters, so the shorter the deal the better, as they get the cap space right back.
