He has been. Next year will be year 12 for him.he’s only 31?! it feels like the guy has been around forever
**** he entered the league as 20 yo???He has been. Next year will be year 12 for him.
If not Kupp, Polk? Boutte? Baker? Bourne? Wolf pick?
Not what he was but light years ahead of what we have.Sign Cupp, he could have a BounceBack year.
As unorthodox as it would be, I’d be happy to see them draft THREE Tackles…especially if one of them has guard flexibility.I hope they can land Cooper.
After seeing the way they seem to be building the roster , I'd like for them to really focus on OL on the draft maybe trading down, maybe using our 1st and 2nd on OL prospects, I don't know, something unusual. Even if Travis Hunter is there at #4, he's a tremendous prospect but they need to figure out this OL and this team is in playoff contention next season.
Pay him 30% more than anyone else offers, but for only one or two years.“Curious about playing for patriots” sounds like lukewarm interest to me. I think they will have to offer him above market $
Also highly unlikely eagles trade AJ Brown and take a 31 musd dead cap hit so that is not happening
Best remaining chances besides Kupp are aiyuk and elijah moore
Thats not saying much and he's only going to play 1/2-3/4 of the games.Pay him 30% more than anyone else offers, but for only one or two years.
They have $$ and he’d immediately be the best WR on the team.
Disagree. Someone in that room has to be a pro. There is literally no where else to spend the money or get a WR.Thats not saying much and he's only going to play 1/2-3/4 of the games.
Overpaying for that doesn't make sense.
One of the National guys made an interesting point yesterday that the are likely only 5 or 6 guys in the league who fit the definition of what most think of as a “#1 WR”.I really hope they sign Kupp because I am ready for some more melt down. But but number one blah blah numb one.. bl num on. lmao
Yup. There are no perfect solutions, and anyone we bring in is likely a short term one until we finally draft a good WR. There are no affordable Justin Jefferson type WR’s just waiting to sign with the Pats. Bring in Kupp if he actually is willing to play here. We’re not winning the Super Bowl this year anyway, it’s about making incremental improvements, getting better to eventually being able to contend again. Bringing in good players while understanding not everything is going to get solved right away. Kupp is an asset when he’s playing. It’s not worth getting caught up in how much time he might miss to an injury that hasn’t happened yet. If we get too caught up in the downsides of players that could improve this team then we’d never bring anyone in.Disagree. Someone in that room has to be a pro. There is literally no where else to spend the money or get a WR.
Unless everyone is cool with going into the season with last year’s WR core plus Hollins, I don’t see why they wouldn’t sign him.
We all know a rookie isn’t making a difference for NE at WR.
They signed Mack Hollins who is a pro.Disagree. Someone in that room has to be a pro. There is literally no where else to spend the money or get a WR.
I'm all for signing Kupp. What would you pay him? What is a reasonable offer?Unless everyone is cool with going into the season with last year’s WR core plus Hollins, I don’t see why they wouldn’t sign him.

2 yrs, $22Mm.They signed Mack Hollins who is a pro.
You don't spend more than 30% of the best offer for adult supervision. That's not responsible. You need more for those dollars and it isn't 10 games and 50 catches.
I'm all for signing Kupp. What would you pay him? What is a reasonable offer?
Kinda nutty that no one has advocated for Cooks being brough back. Is he cooked?
That why I didn't want to continue to argue w/ you but rather understand.2 yrs, $22Mm.
