Odd that you ignore the starting line, that it was Robert's choice.

Could very well be that Robert and Jonathan created a void by firing Bill, and they chose to throw her into the breech.

It's just as plausible to me as the theory that she manipulated Kraft into firing Bill.

If she had enough juice to get Bill fired it's odd that she's out now, IMO.
I don’t think Glaser stormed into Kraft's office and demanded Bill be gone or anything but I think she had some influence in the decision. It is the timing of the whole thing which is where I get suspicious. She was working in whatever capacity with the Kraft Group in a financial and charity relations role since 2007 then all of a sudden the minute Bill is gone she moves to the football side advising on hires and working as an advisor to the head coach? Then Bill is calling her name out as a decision maker in the same sentence as ownership? Then once Vrabel gets here instead of going back to her old role she gets canned resigns? If taking a football role wasn't Glaser's idea and the Krafts asked her to do so out of some sort of post-Bill void it would be pretty crappy of them to fire her for not succeeding in a role she didn't ask for.

I am definitely making some assumptions with all the recent infighting, credit seeking, and power struggles I wouldn't put it past anyone in upper management to be maneuvering to leverage their own interests.

Wasn't it amazing the very small minority of people here that defended her for absolutely no reason?
The problem is nobody knows what she does or did. Even this new tweet literally doesn't say anything about specifics. It just says "do the opposite of Belichick" what does that mean? Bill was notoriously stingy with dealing with players and lost players over it.

I don't really give a **** about this person at all, and if I had any information I would be fine saying she sucks. But I literally have nothing real that she has done to judge her on. So if someone would like to list what she's done that were bad, maybe I'm missing something. But she sort of just seems like some vague boogyman scapegoat for more powerful people to say "yeah she's the big problem".

Seriously I've never seen one substantive thing anybody has attributed to her besides speculation from fans. Maybe she was the worst thing that ever happened to this franchise, but this is nearly 30 pages where not one single specific action has been tied to her.

There was, but Brady outlived those plans. Bill thought by age 38 that Tom would be done.
BB stated that Kraft told him top trade Jimmy. BB went on to say that when your boss tells you to do something that you do it.

My sister works in Boston and talk was that Jimmy was boasting in the Pats Locke room that the Pats were his team now. That in turn sent Brady to Kraft to get him gone. I cant imagine BB liking Brady going over his head and to Kraft.
True. Never should have let the younger guys in the organization walk.
BB never stood in the way of a guy wanting to be better.
Whatever Bill's grading system was clearly didn't value rookie WRs. He simply didn't build rosters that way. He waited until they proved themselves and then brought them in. The difference is the WR market changed and then Bill didn't want to pay.
Wolfe and Groh are off to a hell of a start.
Never should have let Joe Thuney leave.
Add that losing Dante Scar left a hole that remains to this day.
All of the above led to this.
QB. I will never believe that BB wanted Corky Mac.
As sad as it is/was, the game passed Bill by. Father time is still undefeated. Maybe you can say Brady tied Father Time, but that'd be the only guy ever.
Defense still wins championships.

My belief is Thuney fell victim to Bill's concept of what the $ ceiling was for his position. Thuney was and is an exceptional player in every sense of the word and as much as I loved me some BB a financial exception should have been made to accommodate Joe Thuney. He is the type of player you keep, a core guy you can build around
But he was also a GUARD....who ended up playing tackle for 5-6 games last season as the Chiefs' 3rd option (first one being the starting LT/rookie LT and the second one being an off the street FA signing).

I just don't like paying guards that much...although we did it to an extent with Shaq Mason...and technically Logan Mankins before that.

They made Mank the highest paid guard in the league and he deserved every penny.

Jimmy has been on record saying he thought he was better than Tom. He may have said it was "his team", but I'm sure he was laughed at for it. Edelman and Bennett didn't like the stunt he pulled against Buffalo in 2016. They said it pissed a lot of players off and I'm sure it pissed off BB.

Boy did I hate the Mankins pick in 2005. I wanted David Baas. Mankins was bad ass, but unfortunately known here like Welker is - remembered mostly for their playoff blunders.

If Justin Tuck isn't born Mankins has a ring.

And he then left eventually….which is why I wrote “technically”….

I think Vrabel has probably as close to the same amount of power Bill had. For all of Kraft's recent failings he has at least been decisive when getting rid of people tied to last year's mess.

Was that when Jimmy Q would not play and Jacoby had to step in with a broken hand?

I believe that BB wanted to win a Lombardi without Brady using the same method that Tuna Parcells did for his.

Yes. According to Edelman who shared the same Agent as Jimmy, told Jimmy to sit out against Buffalo so his trade value didn't diminish. Jimmy alerted the team at the last minute which pissed a lot of guys off. That's the blueprint of losing a locker room quickly.

He probably did. I think he also thought he found his successor to Brady in Jimmy G, but that plan changed after Brady won in 2014 and had good seasons in 2015, won again in 2016 and showed no signs of slowing down in 2017. Brady's play forced managements hand to deal Jimmy as he was going to be a FA soon.
