2025 NFL Combine

Mason Taylor looked really good. Gunner Helm was not that good. No-one else really stood out. If we want a TE, we'll have to go early - the to 4 or Ferguson would be the only ones I'd draft based upon that performance. I'd include Jackson Hawes as the blocking TE.
I like Evans from notre dame. I’m surprised Helm was so slow. Had a decent junior year. Not do much this season in the SEC. Oh well.

On to the TE's.

Fannin - 4.73
Terrance Ferguson - 4.64 (that's good).
Jackson Hawes - 4.83
Gunner Helm - 4.93 (ouch!)
Bryson Nesbit - 4.89

Not a good group. Only 1 under 4.7 on the first runs.
Not surprised by Helm's numbers. I have watched him play and he's a big galoop. No thanks.

I have also been highest on Arroyo and Ferguson, but intrigued by Mason Taylor.

I took note of the fact Mel Kiper thinks highly of Jackson Hawes, who may not even be drafted.

Bingo. We’re not exactly free of questions on the inside either. Need elite OL in all forms.
This will be a huge failure for us if we use the 4th pick in the draft on a guy who will eventually be an interior OL, especially when we have spent so many resources there.

Onwenu, Strange, Layden Robinson, Sidy Sow, Jake Andrews, and guys who were cut like Atonio Mafi and Chasen Hines.

After all these expenditures, you just ended up replacing one of Strange, Robinson or Sow.

That's NOT how you get ahead in the NFL, especially a 4th pick in the draft. If the future LG isn't already on this team, we are in deep trouble because of the multiple chances to pick guards already by the very same guys picking them now.
