He’s 30 and the ‘Phins quickly moved on from him after one year. Is he anything more than JAG at this point?
I like Austin, dial as the young guys.. but we need DJ Reed or Chavaious ward opposite gonzo.

You can light a fire under Sidy Sow's ass by cutting his lardass.

He's a >>> LG than Laydown Robinson, who was comically over-drafted last year like Wallace and who also played out of position.

Someone's also gotta remind me again why the children upstairs thought that replacing Zach not the LB Thomas (aka our Only even semi-legit backup LT) and our 2ND-BEST OLman Mike Jordan with two ****ing Horrible piles of **** called Lester the Molester & The Other Robinson Who Also Sucks would be a good idea...

It will take the Patriots 15 years to build defensive and offensive lines like Philly if they do so as they did this past year. They will be bottom dwellers with Elliot Wolf, Bob and Jonathan Kraft calling the shots.

Well it’s a good thing Vrabel is calling the shots now

How dare you disrespect the real Lester the Molester.

I think we should not have more than 2 free agents whose age exceeds 28.

Priority 1 - 105 million for these players

Higgins (30)
Odiguzhuwa(12)
Alaric Jackson(20)
DJ reed (16)
Sweat (13)
Greenlaw or Zach Baun ( 10-12)
Austin hooper (5)

Priority 2 - 80 million max

Dan Moore
Jonathan Jones/ huafanga
Kupp/ Godwin
Any other young DT
Rasul Douglas for CB
Young OLB under age 28 maybe Nick Bolton

And maybe 1 or 2 from this below list for low cost insurance with high upside

If we get Higgins, jackson and we get Carter in draft it's a home run as far as off-season is concerned.

Goal is to build a team which can contend in 2027 and qualify for playoffs in 2026. So majority should be 3 year contracts with possible out after a season if they severky underperform or are not a good fit, Zach Baun or sweat in case. Higgins and Jackson should be 2 years gtd however.

Agreed. What I honestly believe is we now have What we haven't the last few seasons. A QB and the coaching. We will absolutely add to the roster and I feel like we can potentially win 8 or 9 games this upcoming season. However the NFL is so strange that who's to say we could even make a playoff berth! The eagles DL Carter and Williams they allow for sweat and those guys to make plays.. having a fully Barmore and drafting Carter would allow the other guys to make plays also.

What about signing an ok vet at LT if we do not land Stanley or Jackson and have Josh conerly as backup. Seems to be the best fit from development standpoint who can be obtained in round 2 or trading up to 28 or 29 in round 1 using our 4th round pick.

I like Adebo & Molden for the secondary; but Josh Ouche...? Fuhgeddaboutit.

Here's PFF's list of those on offense:

Alaric Jackson or better is an obvious Must-Have; and I've wanted Darius Slayton ever since Little Billy ****ing STUPIDLY drafted a ****ing Special olympics ****ing Teamer - who's no longer in the building, naturally - ahead of him.

Great observations. I just feel Jackson might I ch above 25 million considering the demand for LT from contending teams. I would honestly be ok if we signed a mid range vet who can last for 6-8 games while allowing Rookie and Lowe to get better and takeover. I am not completely done with Lowe and feel he might become better as the group improves on a overall basis. Better left guard play could help him become better .

Conerly seems to be sleeper pick this year and my gut says he could be OT equivalent of Sam la porta who was my binkie .

I'm all for it. Lowe is a back up at best who showed flashes of potential but he's not a starter in the NFL. Jackson, Moore or Stanley are all better options of course. I think it's pretty obvious we are going to beef up the lines this off season.

Cap go after them all.. I'm happy to see posters are starting to open up to slayton.. guys a baller and a nice outside threat. If you told me we'd end up with Jackson or Stanley at LT, Deebo and slayton at WR, Williams and BJ hill at DT, greenlaw at LB, chase young at DE. And Carter at #4.. I'd say patriots fans would be happy..

Let Lowe: go play backup for some other Team. I've had enough of him.

The LT is the anchor of the OL.. if the LT sucks the rest of the OL has to compensate.. some posters are down on Robinson but I think under good coaching now he's going to play well. Josh runs the offense a offensive savant.

Jonathan Jones, wants to stay in New England and wants to get back to winning ways.
I want Jonathan to not get burned consistently,
Jones was clutch here, maybe he can get back to being that guy.

4-6 mill a year a range.

Jon Jones is and has been a solid player for us.. he's a slot guy and at this point in his Career is where he should play. He also has been dinged up last few seasons. He's not an outside Corner.
