2025 Draft: WRs

While I agree with this, my one exception at 38 is Tre Harris from Ole Miss. He is my top WR in this draft and I think he could legitimately be a #1 WR in the NFL. I just see a little bit of Dez Bryant in him.

His production last year was off the charts, even though he missed a number of games due to injury. He’s got the size, athleticism and production you want in a high level draft prospect and he has also showed major improved each year.

Also a fun fact, he was Malik Nabers HS QB

Daniel Jeremiah agrees with you

The one thing that puts me of Harris are the reports that the Ole Miss offense is supposed to be a simplistic one and, considering our failures at converting college WRs to our offense over the years, that concerns me. I agree that statistically he ticks a whole bunch of boxes. I'm going to be worried about drafting any WR until we prove we can actually do it and translate it to the NFL.

I could swear that was said about DK and AJ Brown the year they came out from ole miss.

That's fair. I suppose the question would be, would DK and Brown new the WRs they are today if they'd been developed here at the Patriots?

Yes. They're a different tier compared with Harris. Way more wiggle and explosion. Actually able to get off press.

I would be disappointed if Harris is our only answer at outside receiver. He got pressed on less than a dozen of his targets I watched this year, and of those he rarely came down with the ball. I love his physicality after the catch and I do think he'll be a productive player, but I don't think he's better than Boutte. He racked up some big numbers against Furman and other smaller schools, but most of his routes were comebacks, gos, or quite literally standing still at the line and waiting for the coverage to run away for a quick pitch and catch.

He doesn't have dynamic feet. Needs build up speed to run away from defenders. Some focus drops. Still developing as a player, but I'd rather go in a different direction.

Jayden Reed, the third-rounder for the Green Bay Packers, is not as good as a guy who will likely be taken in the fourth round.

Not going to tell his name, which begins with “Ricky” and ends with “White.” Played for UNLV.

Electrifying!

I hear you but if he's there at 38 I'm selecting him.

Is this with or without signing Higgins?
Without of course. Not that I'm expecting them to and I feel like they'd be better served to use the $ towards a LT.

Here's another with a lengthy college career...

I know this 2025 draftable WRsbut Jaquae Jackson intrigues me. He moves like Aiyuk to me in the sense that he is quicker than fast, gets up to speed quick, this guy seems to have pretty good hands. Long shot for sure but since we are talking late round UDFA types I feel he is appropriate. I heard a rumor that Coach Prime offered him a scholly

I think you'll find he came out last year and is an Atlanta Falcon.
