The jets are now all-in to the QB market

Feels like it’s likely 2 QBs go in the top 3, meaning one of Hunter or Carter will be there at 4.

As long as this man is around we never have to worry about a Jets Super Bowl. Not all heroes wear capes, just stupid chains.

Is that Woody Bulger?

That did not work out well
Davante to follow

According to sources, the Jets and quarterback Aaron Rodgers are headed toward a split. After an injury-shortened stint in NY, both sides are expected to part ways this offseason as a new regime takes over.

Multiple sources tell me Davante Adams could be the next big name on the move. His current cap number of 2025 is unsustainable for the Jets' financial situation. Adams would need to agree to a restructured deal to remain in New York - something that seems increasingly unlikely with Rodgers' imminent departure.

I'm told Adams has expressed strong interest in returning to the West Coast. The 5-time Pro Bowler's midseason trade to reunite with his former Packers teammate now appears to be just a brief chapter in both players' careers.

There’s nothing in free agency, has to be draft or trade.

I really hope someone here with their infinite wisdom isn’t thinking “let’s bring Afraud Rodger’s in as a vet for Maye!!”. RK I’m looking at you! This would be the worst possible thing for Drake’s progression. Then again, I don’t think Afraud’s ego could take being the worst QB in the qb room. Much less being washed up and a total dbag.

If Rodgers is willing to take ~$5M to backup Maye, why not?

Seriously, though, I doubt Vrabel would bring him in, and I doubt Rodgers wants to ride the pine anywhere.

As I mentioned over on Reddit, if he had made a couple of different life choices recently, right now he could be the beloved host of Jeopardy! rather than the butt of jokes.

He's not going to have many options. I think he hangs them up.

Saints, Raiders, Browns and Giants are his best bets. Every other team wants to roll with their young guy.

A leopard can't change its spots. Remember, this is the same guy who cut off contact with his own family. He was never going to be America's darling, he just doesn't have that in him.

The Jets are in a hell of a spot to be without a QB.

They would also be in a hell of a spot if they kept Ahole, he was a locker room cancer.

Garrett Wilson checked out with Ahole as QB, probably a few more Jete who were totally out on him.

It's probably the right move on the behalf of the new coach and GM.

Glenn is a defense guy. IMO he should use the pick he has on the best defender available or trade down, and plan to tank.

Spend the season building the defense and getting rid of dead wood, get good draft position, and take a QB next year.

All they need this year is a Mac Jones or Punky Wilson type QB, one that ****s the bed in critical situations.

Those are easy enough to find, we should know...
