Never understood why the Bills are the mafia. Doesn’t the mafia have a ring to kiss?better the mafia than ChiRefs Nation
Yeah because the eagles don’t have two #1 Wide receivers making ridiculous catches for touchdownsThat game demonstrated why the Patriots should be focusing their offseason on their OL and DL.
Agreed. Spaggs is a good coach. But the media talk overrated him and the Chiefs defense.. thier secondary has given up big plays all season.. they played Russian roulette all season with how they finished games. I don't care what anyone says.. as great as Mahomes is he isn't the same guy behind that OL..ChiRefs DC was so worried about Barkley he left his secondary exposed... By the time adjustments were made, the game was already out of hand...
Ha, my bad.He’s being sarcastic
Don't forget the cap. Yes, it can be manipulated but only so much when your QB has a $66 million number and the top 5 are $175 million. Bye Bye Kelce...Good post. And you are right, this is where it gets difficult for the Chiefs and Mahomes. They have their 3 Lombardi’s with the dynasty team they built, but now Mahomes will carry on but they have to build another Dynasty team around him. And drafting late, losing really good players to free agency and retirements, as well as the coaching staff getting plundered and retiring will all make it exceedingly difficult to do that. They will continue to be a contender, but will they have enough to overcome the challenges they will be facing? This is going to get very interesting.
I wonder if Boutte placed a bet on the game...Those receivers the eagles have made catches the patriots trailer trash WRs could only dream of making.
Football is won with skilled weapons as well
A smart GM picks the obvious talent to add to a teams roster. We had none of wich in the past few drafts. Drake has made up for alot of suck in NE..And a skilled GM. Howie Roseman strikes again.
AJ Brown is supposedly the best at beating Man coverage in the game today.
Agreed. Shows what we all have experienced here in NE. Defense wins championships.. the line or scrimmage is how we need to emphatically approach the offseason and draft.Kinda happy for Jalen Hurts. Pulled at HT in a National Championship game by Saban, enters portal, balls out at Oklahoma, drafted by the Eagles and now has the best OL in football, multiple WR#1s, the best RB in the game and a Lombardi. Just shows what can happen if you believe in yourself as Jalen obviously did. Is he the greatest QB in history? Of course not, but a combination of his legs, that OL, those receivers and that RB helps the offence look almost unstoppable.
As for the Chiefs, it it wasn't for the refs, other team brain farts, lucky last gasp plays etc they would have at best been a WC team on the road. You could say it's a great effort to get to the dance in a down year but what's the point if you're going to get blown out.

Philly only rushed 4 the whole game and still got to Mahomes for 11 QB hits.Agreed. Shows what we all have experienced here in NE. Defense wins championships.. the line or scrimmage is how we need to emphatically approach the offseason and draft.

Mahomes is quickly catching up Jim Kelly when it comes to Superbowl thrashings.
And even if they were able to magically finesse the numbers so everyone could stay, they are a year older with yet another year of playing into February. They need to figure out how to reinvent themselves. And that’s for sure not a given.Don't forget the cap. The 2008 Celtics and 2013 Red Sox would like a word with you
I enjoyed this article but reading it (especially the “He could still end up as the greatest QB of all time!”) just brings home how patently absurd these comparisons were, even before this game, because they were way, way, way premature. I feel like Brady had to go through years and years of being dismissed until he made himself undeniable as the GOAT. This Mahomes clown just has to show up and play well for a few seasons and everyone was ready to anoint him. Lots of players play well for many seasons. It doesn’t make them Tom Brady.Im not sure if this has been posted anywhere yet. Apologies if it has.
2025 Super Bowl: Chiefs blown out for second time shows Tom Brady, Bill Belichick comparisons need to stop
They did the same thing with Rodgers.. remember when he was the "GOAT" and the media/nfl fans wanted to prematurely anoint him? That of course was after years of trying and failing to prop up Manning as the GOATI enjoyed this article but reading it (especially the “He could still end up as the greatest QB of all time!”) just brings home how patently absurd these comparisons were, even before this game, because they were way, way, way premature.
