It seems that Travis Hunter is not considered number one pick in lots of the mock drafts, I have seen him as low as 8#. If we can draft him at 4# should we take him or trade and move down the board. There is no way he will play both Offense and Defense for all, or most of a game. So assuming he plays Defense are we wasting our 1# pick on a corner. When OL and Rec are more important.?

He's the best prospect in the draft. He should go number 1 so if he's available at 4 absolutely take him.

We need to use free agency to fill our most urgent needs. Number 4 won't fill of all them anyway and we can't really afford to wait on a rookie to develop in some of these spots.

I’m all about BPA for the next few drafts. Fill need in FA when you can. We need talent and lots of it. If the staff feels that Travis Hunter is BPA vs, say an Abdul Carter then take him. Let where he’s going to play sort itself out. Me personally, I like Hunter and then I don’t. His light frame concerns me but dude is electric, gotta give him that.

I assume you'll switch from a 3 man front base defense to a 4?

IF Tennessee and Cleveland passes on the QB's you have to think either Hunter and Carter are going one - two. IF that's the case we won't be in position.

If he is indeed the best prospect in the draft, he won't be available at 4.

If they don't take QB's they will likely trade down a bit with a team that does want a QB.

Anyone that put Hunter at #8 is either an f'ing moron or just trying to troll.

People, he is not going to be available to New England at #4 so just stop the self delusion and wasted cyberspace.

I think there is an extremely small possibility that 2 QBs and Carter go before Hunter. It shouldn't but obviously the 3 teams ahead of us need QBs one of them gets Ward, one of them overdrafts Sanders, and then all it takes is for one team to go Pass Rush instead of Hunter.

What I think happens is Ward, Carter, Hunter in some order and we miss both the best Rusher and Hunter. Leaving us with the choice of McMillan or trading down slightly and going OL. I'd go McMillan in this scenario but if someone wants to trade a 2025 first and we can still get the best OL then I'd consider it.

That is what Vrabel and Williams (and whoever the DC was) ran in Tennessee.....I think it is likely the way this defense is likely to be headed.....there isn't alot of high end talent to say we should stay in a 3 front, so if they prefer the 4 might as well make the change.

Highly doubt hes there at 4, slim to none.

Abdul carter possibly could, alot can change in 3 months.

Mason graham will almost certainly be there.

Id take them in that order, don’t get cute. Unless you really love tet, im not sure about him.
