First, the staff will likely deal with decisions regarding
Hooper
Hasty
Wise
Ekuale
Ellis
Ximinez
Austin
Jon Jones

Hawkins
I see Hooper, Jones, elliss, Austin, hasty, ximmines back here. How about yourself?

I don't live in Massachusetts.

But I am going to retire there. A lot of my friends already have.

To each his own.

He's still driving down his market.
If you do retire here.. go towards the south shore.. Boston is overpopulated and the traffic is beyond miserable.. look into the Bridgewaters or eatson, Massachusetts.

I think kupp comes more with his agility and selling of routes to create separation

Which made him an elite player despite his slow 40, but there is still a point where you simply aren’t fast enough to play in the league, and if Kupp loses a step he will reach that point sooner than guys who ran 4.4 or 4.5.

Washington brought signed 26 players external and their own FAs. 11 of those were starters. I think that we need to take that approach rather than blowing our load on 5 superstars. They raised the level of their starters and depth. We have several players that could be upgraded.
Except Pats have 40 million more in space than Commanders did last year they could do a little of both
Washington has a lot of cap space but they also don’t have very many players signed because a lot of their deals were one year deals. It’s a desirable place to go for free agents and we might lose one or two premier free agents we want to them but thankfully their cap space is only half of what it looks like because they have so few players signed for next year

The Patriots can afford to overpay for two guys they really really want and still do what Washington did last year with the rest of the money

Het hey...Rea:l out west ain't bad you can speed down Route 2.

Agreed. Maybe Watkins too. Godwin is the youngest but had a broken ankle in 2024 so that carries risk. Some broken ankles and feet never heal properly. I think Kupp is the best WR tactician, but Godwin was the most productive before his ankle break. Overall I think it is a great idea to bring two of these guys in, and hopefully Travis Hunter too.
Agreed Kupp is definitely a great tactician at WR.. he'd thrive here. What I'm elated for is a offensive guru in McDaniels who is going to put guys in positions to thrive.. question? is LA looking to move Kupp? What I'm most excited for is how McDaniels will create mismatches with gibby out wide, and in the backfield.. if we have Kupp good luck for secondaries trying to cover.

Hey my brother from another.. yes I have some people I know out in Leominster ans Fitchburg area.. they like it say it's a welcome getaway from the city.. personally I wouldn't mind out metrowest..

They also have a young (about 28) starting CB (who'll be an UFA). If they keep Higgins, they will be hard pressed to keep some important players from this past season, and acquire players in the next year or two in FA. Also, Metcalf has said that he doesn't want to play in the Boston Area. He likes the Team, just not the area. So, we can cross of a trade for him.
Also what we can't appreciate enough is.. McDaniels is morphing the offense around Drake, and his abilities not the other way around. Guys like pop, gibby, bell and polk and baker stand to greatly benefit from McDaniels.

I’d definitely come back to NE for NH or that area tbh.

We rode clock Killin dillion that game wore down the Steelers front.. boy do I miss having a WR like branch.. could polk and baker end up being branch and Givens??..
I try to stay optimistic and think either can still make it but I'm not sure either will be as good as Branch or even Givens.

Branch came in and produced right away.. Givens took a little time as a 7th rounder.. both players came into an stable coaching environment unlike polk and baker... one thing I agree with wolf on is the development of the young guys.. that is what ultimate cost Mayo his job..

Polk and baker have I'd say more "potential " if you will.. to be great patriots WRs. I feel like under vrabel and Josh they could thrive.

Lets fix the offense:

1) Sign Alaric Jackson
2) Sign Morgan Moses
3) Trade a 3rd for Kupp
4) Trade back a couple spots and draft Tetairoa McMillan

QB: Maye
RB: Stevenson/Gibson
WR: McMillan
WR: Kupp
WR: Douglas
TE: Henry
LT: Jackson
LG: Strange
C: Andrews
RG: Onwenu
RT: Moses

"We've destroyed Massachusetts, now let's move to New Hampshire and enjoy it's benefits, while turning it into the State that we just left!"
Overpopulated, unaffordable housing, terrible traffic other than that it's a great place to live..
