Why people failed to see this was surprising to me. Makes me worry for men. It was so obvious. I still remember some folks being really nasty to me when I saw the tea leaves from a mile away. He secured the bag, did not want to get her pregnant, she got pissed and caused a situation that has all of us here. Was looking for a meal ticket with a child period. That failed so next is to use society to get fake sympathy and pressure to get money. He definitely used force to get her out of his room but not because he wanted that outcome but this is what she wanted.

Outside this situation peppers has been the ultimate team player and professional on and off the field. He's one of my favorite players he lays it all out on the field.. plays the right way and is Rodney type impact on the defense. I am glad he got through this.. with Vrabel he could have him being an all pro.
Prosecution may be leaning over backwards to show that not even a big name star player for the hometown NFL team gets special treatment.

If true, Peppers' position becomes clearer. She overshot by about $8.8 million, and that would be with no admission of fault. Still, she could file a civil action. The standard goes from "beyond a reasonable doubt" to "a preponderance of the evidence", but his lawyers will be better than hers. I bet this is over, and I stand amazed that the prosecutor thought this should be carried to trial, now that I know the jury barely deliberated. The evidence must have been weak.
That's not true. There have been cases like this which were dropped due to lack of evidence. See the 2015 case against Aroldis Chapman.
That's a miscarriage of justice, then. The prosecution should not take cases to trial when it does not believe the evidence will prove the defendant's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Juries are not always reliable.
It's mistreatment, not special treatment. He should be treated equally before the law.
Tons of plea bargains down to misdemeanors or better for guys in the hood. In fact, that's more common: how else do you think guys have rap sheets with 35 convictions and they are still on the street? But yes, poor defendants get screwed all the time. You are right: our system is corrupt, and God help you and me if we ever have to put ourselves at the mercy of the courts.
