First Meaningless 2025 Mock

Well we know in the case of Terrell that he likes violence lol

That describes Peebles.

He certainly is fun to watch. My only issue is that he's probably limited to being an interior pass rush specialist. doesn't have the size to be an every down guy or someone who could move to a 5-tech when needed.

Reminds me of Braden Fiske. Your guy from Nebraska obviously has the height advantage.

Yup. Has the length to play over tackle and even had over 100 snaps outside tackle but has the weight to play inside too. Peebles is the guy you draft when you've already got a strong roster, would be a great luxury pick.

A bit of a binky mock.

1. There are a lot of my favourite value prospects in the 100-200 range on PFF which needed some trading back.
2. Carter and Hunter were off the board hence the Graham pick.
3. Stackhouse, a classic NT and Ty Robinson, one of the most productive pass rushing DTs in this class at 6-6, 310 would in addition to Graham make for a really stout but still pass rush competent 3 man defensive front longer-term.
4. I am very high on the three O linemen in this mock and think all three are future starters.
5. I think you all know my feelings on Swinson by now. Tyler Batty is just a high motor high character strong side edge player that sets the edge excellently. Has been compared to Deatrich Wise.
6. David Walker is only 6-2 but is 260lbs and is a fun watch - both powerful and athletic. I wonder whether a move to MLB might be a good way for him to go.
7. Most of you probably know Tre Harris by now. He's one of the best blocking WRs in the draft so at least for that skill, he's a nice fit for McDaniels.
8. It would have been nice to get a CB and RT but you can't draft a whole team.

Traded back at 4 and still got Hunter. It had the NYGs taking Ewers R1... no way that's happening. I didn't love Williams at 38 but Restrepo, Judkins and Mukuba were wins in my book.

Love Tre Harris. However I doubt he will be round 3 on the board.

Probably true. I know Draft Buzz have him as their 3rd WR on the board although I also think that's off on the rich side. I have seen people talk about him as a 3rd rounder.

I try not to dwell on draft projections with several months to go. A lot can and will change.
Yeah I get a little more interested after senior bowl, combine and pro days.

Yeah, 6 1 and 290 seems like it's gonna limit his possibilities as a DT.

I only know about Ohio State’s Donovan Jackson. I agree 100% with you. Guy’s going to surprise a lot of people with his versatility and high football IQ. I get Joe Thuney vibes from him.

The software gave you an ‘F’ for the pick. But that’s dubious.

An F grade? That's practically a guarantee that Jackson will go on to be a superstar.

I don't worry about their grades, partly because I think it's based too much on what PFF view as a team need and partly because I don't think they have fully scouted everyone.
