Thats pretty funny lolMight be a non story. He was probably watching an old Chappell Show episode with Wu Tang Financial and wanted to diversify his bonds, *****es.
Boutte doesn't need to tear past Bourne in camp. He already did it this season. Haven't you been watching?I know Bourne isn't a #1, or a dominant game changer. But he has been completely screwed in his 4 years here.
He showed well in'21, was in Matty P's doghouse in '22, on pace for a career year but hurt in '23, and actually showed what he's still capable of the 2nd half of this year. Some of his routes and catches were high level. He's a great personality and encourager for the historically worse position on the Pats.
Unless Polk or Boutte tear past him in camp, and we sign 2 STUDS, we should keep Bourne for depth.
I'd rather have him be the tenured vet to pass the torch to new FA or Draftee than Pop or Boutte.
Bourne started this year on the IR and needed time to get healthy even after he was activated.Boutte doesn't need to tear past Bourne in camp. He already did it this season. Haven't you been watching?
Josh? lol he ain’t coming backKB will be in the mix of WR rotation next season.. remember PF2 he was coming of an ACL.. he was well on his way to over a 1,000 yard season before getting hurt last season. Josh will help his game.
We'll see double R.. .. personally I'd take him. Who would you want as OC??Josh? lol he ain’t coming back
Slayton is meh in comparison to Bourne, basically same player.I'm sure his tweet is not football related.
However, cutting him post June 1 would give 6.3 million in cap savings and only 1.4 in dead money. If they signed Higgins and Slayton, for example, would make sense with Boutte there to dump Bourne for salary cap savings. Otherwise, he's a god veteran presence and Vrabel leans on veterans to lead so he's probably here.
Is slayton going to be a FA?? Another cap casualty veteran that is going to be available is Christian kirk.I'm sure his tweet is not football related.

He will be an Unrestricted free agent unless Giants sign him before he reaches free agency, he's a year and a half younger than Bourne and if he comes cheaper might be worth the swap for cap savings and a slightly better player. Slayton is 15 yards per reception in career vs 12.7 for Bourne. Way faster 40 time as well.Is slayton going to be a FA?? Another cap casualty veteran that is going to be available is Christian kirk.
Thanks for the information. Yes slayton is definitely fast. I know they like his abilities to separate on the outside. We so desperately need. I'm thinking draft T. McMillan, trading for DK Metcalf, and signing slayton..He will be an Unrestricted free agent unless Giants sign him before he reaches free agency, he's a year and a half younger than Bourne and if he comes cheaper might be worth the swap for cap savings and a slightly better player. Might be better suited with Abdul Carter if you get Higgins or Metcalf. They need an edge rusher as bad as a Tackle or WR and Carter is a better prospect than Tet IMO.Thanks for the information. He's no better. In other words if you don't want Bourne, you don't want Slayton. He'll show up 1 game and then disappear for 3 games. You don't want him. Again, his best year was 2019. Get a #1, and get a guy in the Draft or see if you can reclaim the '24 draft picks at WR.He will be an Unrestricted free agent unless Giants sign him before he reaches free agency, he's a year and a half younger than Bourne and if he comes cheaper might be worth the swap for cap savings and a slightly better player. True. Forgot about carter.. I'd definitely be all in on him. We also need to beef up the DL.. Barmore his situation is uncertain.. as he came back to prematurely.Might be better suited with Abdul Carter if you get Higgins or Metcalf. Well, except one runs a 4.39 and is 28. *shrug*.Slayton is meh in comparison to Bourne, basically same player.
You get the same results. Let's be better.Well, except one runs a 4.39 and is 28. *shrug*.
The other is a Bourne.
I mean, same results, younger and faster, that's actually better. You get the same results. Let's be better.

We're not in a position to turn down upgrades when they present themselves.
Slayton or Bourne? All things being equal, Slayton 10 times out of 10.
Let's do better than either of them.I mean, same results, younger and faster, that's actually better.
