Fun historical team facts.

Did I say that? No. Don't put words in my mouth. I said Bill failed to have a better record than the season you are complaining about after multiple years to rebuild. He had his chance, he had full control and the team was completely ruined. Mayo being the wrong coach after is independent of the fact that Bill Belichick had every chance to do a better job rebuilding and it was a complete clown show.

And there's a reason two years later nobody wants to touch him.
Those were your options if you don't want one then by default you got what you asked for. Can't say I didn't warn you.

Comedy gold. BB would still be coach if Mac had the mental and physical tools that Maye has.
Maye couldn't win as many games Jacoby Brissett and most of this board was creaming over Mac his first year just like Maye now. And it was Bills choice to not give Brady a longterm contract. He very easily could have rolled with Brady for a few years, had a few respectable seasons and then would have had to look for a QB in 2023. He also didn't need to hire Patricia and Judge. He also didn't need to tell BOB not to use his own offensive staff.

He was given full control and the team declined. I get the sentimentality some people have over it, but he had his chance.

No those weren't my options. That was Kraft's decision. I didn't want Mayo to be the replacement anyways.

And you didn't warn me of anything. We went from a 4 win team to a 4 win team. If Bill still had the ability to rebuild the franchise and get back to his old ways, he would have easily been able to outdo the complete ****show that was Mayo this year. It's an indictment on him that towards the end Mayo could still match his record.

You ever wonder why Bill and Brady seem to be on great terms but Brady doesn't seem to give Kraft any attention?

Bill would have fared better the fact you can't admit this is silly. But I suppose you're the one who still likes Mayo.

Bro there was literally a televised roast last year where the biggest story that came out of it was Brady rushing to one of the comedians to tell him to back off Kraft. You ever wonder why Brady leaked a bunch of **** to Wickersham about having a bad relationship with Bill, rushing out of here, and then telling Gronk that "football is fun again" in Tampa?

Like I said, I never wanted Mayo.

The facts are all your scenarios are hypotheticals. Bill did coach a season right before Mayo, he didn't fare "far better". You think he would have done better to have time to rebuild. He did have 4 years to rebuild and the team fell apart.

We have what actually happened and you fantasizing scenarios that might have happened because based off what Bill actually did, there was no justification for giving him more time

Why didn't come get his statue? But he works with Bill regularly on the grey podcast? And constantly has nothing but praise for him?

It's ok to just say you like Mayo better than Bill. If that's your take just own it.

They rescheduled. Again Brady came to Gillette less than a year ago for a massive retirement ceremony that Kraft set up. They had the roast where Brady was hugging and defending him in front of a national audience.

He talked about Bill more at that ceremony than Kraft

It's not though. Some of us can walk and chew bubble gum. I was firmly against the Mayo hire. Bill also made the team a joke the last few years and lost his fastball. The fact is most of the world realizes that Bill's time had come. If you need to make it strictly a narrow Bill vs Mayo argument to change that speaks more to the weakness of the argument that Bill should have been kepy.

What's your point? So far you provided zero evidence that there is some Brady vs Kraft split and I gave you multiple examples of Brady being on extremely good terms with him in the last year. Like I know you are making fantasy scenarios that Bill would do better if he had more time, are you now making fantasy Brady vs Kraft fights?

You can't walk and chew for Kraft though and knowing what you know now that it was Mayo or Bill and that Mayo was less qualified than your average patsfans member you'd think it wouldn't be so hard for you to admit you were wrong.

Apparently you'd rather continue to throw shade on Bill than admit you were wrong. Congratulations for that.

My point is Brady is on better terms with Bill than Kraft. And if Bill and Brady are good I don't know why you feel the need to keep carrying that axe.

Kraft made a mistake. He shouldn't have hired Mayo. He still 100% should have fired Bill. I'm sorry you can't admit that Bill failed.

I don't know why you need to make up some imaginary schism between Brady and Kraft out of your desperation to defend a guy who is gone.
