I know it’s a day where I don’t think the Pats winning was wicked pissah. I also know arguing over a backup QB for 2025 makes aa much sense as winning today. I also know after reading many fan comments that I wasn’t alone pleased with the play of Milton no matter who he was playing against.

the team lost the number 1 pick. Combine that pick with Drake Maye, and what do you have? The ability to attract a top tier coaching prospect to the team. Why? You either get the best player in the draft, or you can use it to trade back to help rebuild the roster.

Remove that option, and this team becomes less attractive to a high profile candidate. The flexibility of the team took a huge hit. So yes, I'm pissed. And if you've been a fan since 1960, you should be too.

Being upset about losing the #1 pick by winning is the only thing we do agree on. Not that it matters but i don’t think you understood my original post in this thread.

I wish they had (or will yet) fire Wolf, particularly given that a prospective HC might want to have very significant input into who will serve as GM. I would certainly fire Wolfe in a flash if his being there made even slightly less likely that any of the strong candidates for HC would take the job.
