the team lost the number 1 pick. Combine that pick with Drake Maye, and what do you have? The ability to attract a top tier coaching prospect to the team. Why? You either get the best player in the draft, or you can use it to trade back to help rebuild the roster.
Remove that option, and this team becomes less attractive to a high profile candidate. The flexibility of the team took a huge hit. So yes, I'm pissed. And if you've been a fan since 1960, you should be too.
