Mayo has to act like he is going for the win. He knows the fans are against him for the most part, and no matter what he says he must feel that he is on the hot seat as the season comes to a close. Plus the NFL would love to take away our first round pick if they deem anything inappropriate. However if they really want to keep the #1 pick, he just has to say that Maye is having some effects from a mild concussion and his health is a priority. Start Jacoby and see what happens!!! As others have pointed out, what Maye says and what he does are two different things!!!

mayo is focused on beating buffaloes back ups ? he should be focusing on evaluating players to keep and not keep and figuring out his roster and keeping their draft position. he's a dodo ! i hope the offense and defense flails again. i hope this is just posturing and he knows the real goal. mayo needs to do what's best for the franchise and NOT win a meaningless game. if maye gets another concussion i'm going to be pissed.
