I'm not saying sitting starters for fear of injury is the lone reason for the move, its more about seeing what we have in reserve. I don't see any reason to play Maye this week after he took yet another head shot last week, the last game is meaningless. I would not be surprised that the Bills having nothing to gain from the last game resting or limiting snaps for a lot of their starters and as a side benefit hosing us over on the draft.
Every game Maye had played was meaningless, except to his development.
The Bills are trying to win a SB our draft slot is the least of their concerns.

I mean if you want to say throw the game, go ahead, but be honest don’t couch it in saying a rookie qb who has won 1 game all year and seems to be stagnated won’t benefit from playing more football.

If AVP is gone.. the I believe TC McCartney should be elevated.. or the mystery man McAdoo. Covington has been worse than AVP if anyone should go it's Covington he's been in the organization and in the defense. Pathetic!
How does McCartney qualify to be OC?
Do you know anything about him?

Taking a deeper look at this staff. TJ McCartney is actually s good coach he has a heavy hand in Drake and his development. I just believe it's been the collaboration.. it's not working. Mayo needs to assert himself more and make it emphatic what he wants and stop flip flopping to make the media happy. This time around the pressure is all on the krafts.. they need to ensure to wolf that he needs to be aggressive and acquire as much talent in the draft as possible. This is the worse than the 32 ranked roster.
I'm all set w Mayo. If he hasn't asserted himself now he never will

No Patriots Fan should care about them winning this game. A Trade netting a Second in 25 and a First in 26 should be our hope this Team Needs Good Players.
I care about developing players. If you want to throw the game, fine, but you have 53 players in the roster to get experience for while doing so.

Just like when we traded with Dallas where they took Maryland and the projected best player was the rocket
Something that happened 36 years ago doesn't mean it's happening again

Not "IF" but when AVP's boundary Offense really hurt Pop Douglas development. I hate his Offense his amateurish Offense is a far cry from the real Offenses around the league.

Baker and Polk is going to develop in one game it's going to work wonders for them.

Your have a point PF2 becuase AVPs offense doesn't utilize the slot WR. I also don't want to go back to the old patriots offense either.. I heard on talk radio slowick may be possibly available becuase of Houston regression this season.. I'll take him!

I've said the same things. We could go the double T offense Higgins and Mc Millian on the outside.. the other guys would then be in their respective 3rd and 4th WR spots.

My FA wish list-
Josh Sweat or Chase young at DE
Possible trade for max Crosby
Higgins of course
Dan Moore at LT
I've softened on my FA outside CB Austin looks the part opposite gonzo.
Simmons at FS.

What do you think?
The possibilities are endless and we could be in for one of the funnest off seasons ever if Kraft doesn’t cheap out. FA and the draft done right could shave a year or 2 off the rebuild and be competing for a wild card spot as sarly as next year. The best part is the QB is out of the way which has sunk many franchises trying to rebuild.

I don't think RK has the option to be El cheapo.. his teams roster is borderline expansion team level. NFL teams can easily become competitive from one year to the next for example Buffalo in 2018 as opposed to 2019 was two different teams. They made the playoffs or were close to it that season. Simply adding play makers not just JAGs we have a roster full of them we need demon pass rushers. Athletic run stuffing DLs big physical WRs who get open.. OTs who can actually block and create holes in the running game.

Would Nick Caley come back given a Big Pay raise?? We should have never let him go.
I think so.. he should have been the guy he was Mayo's choice and Wolf hired AVP after caley stayed in LAR..

Even competent players would work.

Wouldn’t be a bad decision, maybe he can convince Alaric Jackson to be part of something great and come along with him?
Yes! The organization is lucky to have Drake he is the only attraction here. Anyone that has watched him know what he is.. he needs guys that will win match ups to fully maximize his year 2 jump.

Hypothetical:

#1 pick -> #3 pick, 2025 2nd, 2026 first
#3 pick Travis Hunter

Drake Maye
Christian Gonzalez
Travis Hunter
Christian Barmore
120+ million cap space
Multiple future first round picks

A good GM turns those assets into a superbowl contender. That’s whats scary about leaving this amount of responsibility to Wolf.
