Zappe looks like a X's and O's kinda Guy.I'm surprised you aren't asking for Zappe to be HC.

Tomsula won 6 games plus an NFL Europe championship. As bad as he was I would rank him above Mayo at this point. Is there any doubt now that Mayo is Jim Tomsula?
So you want us to be in the Run for Arch Manning and we already have Maye I see your logic. No it allows the team to waste even more time. I'd rather lose 1 more year than 3 or more years.
If you are already resigned that we won't land anyone of quality, then you don't do it just to do it.
Like I said, if you spend 3 years wasting your time with Vrabel, you'll look back and say "hmm maybe grunting and taking one more ****ty year of Mayo to get a real coach wasn't the worst idea".
We know how this goes when teams rush and just take whatever scraps they can.
What "real coach" is going to come here, if the Patriots wait a year?No it allows the team to waste even more time. I'd rather lose 1 more year than 3 or more years.

No... I have no idea how you came to that conclusion. So you want us to be in the Run for Arch Manning and we already have Maye I see your logic.
He's double teamed every play now - that's why his production has plummeted. There's literally no one else with pass rushing skills. They trade him, he'll tear it up on any team with even one more pass rusher. Can’t wait til we trade White to the Chiefs for 6th round pick.
If you get a new GM and the roster is better? Plenty. Offer them the bag and give them a ton of control and a guarantee. It's not hard. What "real coach" is going to come here, if the Patriots wait a year?
It's not just availability anymore, like it was a year ago. Now it's availability AND desirability, as in - these people have to actually WANT to come here. They all saw the 'Dynasty' hit job. They all saw this franchise just fall apart this seasons. They saw this top-10 defense turn into the worst in the league. They saw the inability to put even replacement-level players in place through free agency. They saw them completely tank the draft.
It doesn't matter how much money you're throwing around. They have to want to come here, and right now, you're not getting the pick of the litter. Ben Johnson won't be within 200 miles of Foxboro.
Hiring Vrabel wouldn't be desperation he's leagues better than Boot licker MAYO.No... I have no idea how you came to that conclusion.
I want the team to hire the right people and not waste more cycles because they rushed to fill gaps because they were desperate.
Mayo will get us the #1 overall in 26 haven't you realized how backwards this Team is Trending with him??No... I have no idea how you came to that conclusion.

No it would be desperate. He bottom out his last two years in TN and he only won when he had the best RB in the league, an elite WR, Pro Bowl level linebackers, All Pro level pass rushers and safeties, and a top 10 line.Hiring Vrabel wouldn't be desperation he's leagues better than Boot licker MAYO.
It's the Krafts move.Pioli with Patriots: 2000-2008
Vrabel with Patriots: 2001-2008
Pioli with Chiefs: 2009-2012
Vrabel with Chiefs: 2009-2010
To be fair on that, the GM got rid of AJ Brown and resigned Tannehill to a huge contract, Malcom Butler also to a big contract. Vrabel didn’t have much choice in personnel in TNNo it would be desperate. He bottom out his last two years in TN and he only won when he had the best RB in the league, an elite WR, Pro Bowl level linebackers, All Pro level pass rushers and safeties, and a top 10 line.
He's as good as the talent is.
Get a real coach who can win in the future.
Gotta give a guy a Second chance how did that work for BB after Cleveland?? I would go all in for Mike Vrabel he'll have the QB.No it would be desperate. He didn't have much choice. But again, we saw what he was once he didn't have all that talent. He would be coming here on a rebuild squad not on some hyper talented team. We need someone who can build something and maintain a standard while that rebuild is coming together. Not someone like Vrabel who will only look good once the team is fail proof. To be fair on that, the GM got rid of AJ Brown and resigned Tannehill to a huge contract, Malcom Butler also to a big contract. Vrabel didn’t have much choice in personnel in TN
We don't have to be the one's to give him a second chance. Someone else can try that.Gotta give a guy a Second chance how did that work for BB after Cleveland?? I would go all in for Mike Vrabel he'll have the QB.
@lancerman come home buddy. To be fair on that, the GM got rid of AJ Brown and resigned Tannehill to a huge contract, Malcom Butler also to a big contract. Vrabel didn’t have much choice in personnel in TN
