They got a new coach, and now suddenly they are prospering. Fat Matt’s Detroit reign was so piss poor that no one in the nfl wanted him after that besides his buddy, old Mr B. Matty P is obsequious to BB and that was the only reason he made the NFL. Even the biggest BB sycophants will admit to that.

Ok we’re splitting hairs. I implied as a ‘head coach.’ That’s how he is judged. We know he is one of the greatest defensive wizards of all time. I question his ability as a GM, especially post 2017 where he completely lost it. I also wonder how well he would head coach without Brady as his QB.

We already have an adequate sample size for that both his Cleveland days and after Brady left. Well below .500.

He’s arguably the greatest defensive coach of all time and without Brady he’s had a rough time trying to build and coach offense that can win. That’s part of his story.

Yep. We have enough of a sample size to conclude MP is nothing without Bill.

Hence the fiasco in Detroit. Also as DC in Philly last season he finished their season poorly losing to some backup QBs, got drilled by the Bucs in the playoffs and is now out of the league.

We were in the SB right? Compared to this year I think you have to admit you're being spoiled.

Also last I heard neither Bill nor Butler have spoken about it so not sure how you can blame Matty P for it.

Post 2017 he still won a SB. Being a GM is about more than just drafting. And even then 2000-2023 was excellent drafting despite a small window that wasn't great. So what if he has a small drought.
