DRAFT 2025 Patriots Draft Prospects

The Pats desperately need to add a LT in the draft. If they do that, then they can put Wallace at RT and develop him.

Then they can put Sow back to LG and move Strange to Center, which seems to be their goal, currently.

That should make for a stout O-line that should buy Maye time to throw and the receivers time to get open.

I don’t know much about Jackson, Bolles is the guy I want.

You do realize that the WOLF has all but refused to sign a player over the age of 30, right? What makes you think he'll sign Bolles (32)?

Cam Robinson is likely the #1 UFA OT this coming off-season. But at 29+, I don't know if Wolf will look at him?

It will be interesting to see if Dan Moore Jr will be franchised or transitioned by Pitt.. Or if they reach an extension with the kid.

I want to avoid Walker Little. His games against GB and Philly leave a lot to be desired. Though he played well against Detroit, he wasn't facing off against Aiden Hutchinson.

My only problem with Bolles is that he's already 32. Even if he doesn't get injured, they will still need a LT in two years max.

That’s OK, sign Bolles, take BPA with their first round pick, then move back into the last 3rd of the 1st round and draft Josh Simmons,LT Ohio State. He’s probably the best tackle in the draft, but an injury put him out for the season, so he should still be there. If he isn’t then Ersery could be there.

Yeah, really, who?

I meant Travis Hunter. Man, I had a few today.

Hunter will almost certainly be the first non QB off the board, but he’s a great prospect. The question in this draft is whether or not the QB’s can get up to the top picks. Neither Ward or Sanders are deserving of the top 2 picks in the draft, but desperation on the part of the Giants and Raiders could end up with them going 1-2.

The question for Wolf is going to be whether to go need or BPA? They will likely be able to go need and get Campbell or Banks, currently the highest rated LT prospects. Or they could take Hunter, Graham (DT) or Johnson (CB) and then either move up into the late 1st for Ersery or Simmons, both LT’s, and come away with LT addressed both in free agency and the draft, assuming they go LT in free agency.

Walker Little just resigned for 3 years, $45 million, so that’s one less option.

Yes, I think you have to go for the WR talent first. The problem I have with the tackles is that none of them are sure bets for picking that high, and we've seen a lot of LT busts over the last several years. But we haven't seen any WR busts chosen high in a very long time. The last one was in 2017 and it was Corey Davis at 5. You can consider Henry Ruggs a bust at 12 but he had other problems, and 12 is just not the same as 5.

I like Simmons. There are a couple of other OT's that are 2nd or 3rd rounders who might turn out to be solid or better. I'd prefer Walker Little over Bolles. If Jacksonville tags him, then that's a no-go. But, if he is allowed to test the waters, he'd be my first choice for LT. That would then free up our 1st Round pick to choose whomever we want and still get Simmons or whoever else in the manner that you suggested.

Little signed an extension yesterday

What about Elic ayomanor. Coming from Stanford means good ethics and intelligence , great physique and nice catch radius and decent speed.
6'2 205 lbs and 4.41 speed. He could be our X.

Comp seems to be Mike evans

I am not sure with taking OLineman if we are at range 1-7 pick.IMO it is gonna be a reach. It is not because they are not talented but there are plenty of them in round 2 this year.
My choice would be between MCmillan or Graham from Michigan. Both of them would bring immediate impact to our team.

My only concern with that is that MacMillen is the only WR , other than Hunter, worth a top 5 pick, and I’m not altogether sold that he is going to be a great pro receiver. It’s going to be a question of whether he can get open in The pro’s or not? Hunter shut him down, will he have the same issue in the NFL?

Who exactly will Maye be throwing the ball to in this scenario? Is that fair to Maye not to invest in any receiving weapons and leave him with the worst WR core in the NFL?

Did Hunter shut him down? I am seeing a lot of PI/Holding by Hunter. Also, the AZ quarterback is hot garbage. Maye would be major upgrade for King Tet.

Choir boys make poor NFL Wide Receivers. I remember hearing how well Harry did in his interview

But he does seem fast and reliable . Gives me Wilson vibes the wr for Cardinals who is turning out a decent career's as wr 2/3.

But he also has the poor separation knock. So not sure what to make of it. Maybe a 3rd round pick .

Yes, the WR Corps sucks. It's not an either/or situation. Maye needs both the OL and WR Corps significantly improved. And we haven't even gotten to the Defense yet!
