The Defense is old in many area's and needs much more talent from the Line to the Back-End. OL, WR, TE, even upgraded and deeper talent at RB. They cannot screw up the 2025 FA period or Draft up. Maye is the "Real Deal", but he's young and lacks talent to help him reach his potential. I'm also not a fan of the Front Office or Coaching Staff. Been with this Team since the 70's, so I've seen some horrible Patriots Teams. I don't want the Drake Maye Era Team to be one of those 3 years from now.You can also make a case for EDGE, and I've even seen a couple of people suggest Mason Graham, too.
You have a Potentially Great Player you get him a Great OC. Ben Johnson or Bust we ain't winning another Game.I don’t want to fire AVP. I want consistency for Maye. People here where screaming here that changing OC every year can screw a rookie QB and now we want to do the same thing with Maye??
Is AVP the best OC? No but I see improvement from the beginning of the season. I think he is doing a good job developing him. They will be fine with better players even with AVP.
Keep AVP and at some point in the next 2-3 years Drake will outgrow the system and then you make a change. Pretty much like Baltimore did with Roman and Montken.
Maye needs consistency going in year 2.
Sideways Hasty too no vision whatsoever.I hate the way Gibson runs. Always picks the wrong hole. I dont really care how shifty you are if you're picking the wrong hole and getting stopped at the line. Rham gains yardage all the time. I dont think he's great but... Not a Gibson fan. Ezekiel >>> Gibson
No! he's Good but we need a Great RB like Barkley or Gibbs from Detroit.Am I the only one who thinks Rham is not good.
He dances forever, he turns sideways immediately on short yardage, inside runs.
Gibson is much more nimble and shifty.
Rham barely gained 1 yard (or TFL) on most of his 1st down runs.
I know we can blame the OL too, but did you see Williams and even 5-foot-nothing Corum??
YesAre the constant one score game losses a byproduct of bad coaching or a roster void of talent?
You are gonna be disappointed then !You have a Potentially Great Player you get him a Great OC. Ben Johnson or Bust we ain't winning another Game.
We know who the Franchise is but You'll see for yourself. A Potentially Great QB can't perform up to his potential with a ****ty OC. Drake is the only player who's putting Fannies in those seats. I expect the Krafts to cater to him 100%.You are gonna be disappointed then !
Drake Maye will be fine with AVP next year. The main problem on offense is the lack of play maker.
Some of us don't want to read through six pages of the coaches, players, Krafts, etc... suck. There's some great learning in here but also a lot of typical NE Region *****ing about everything.Only 6 pages 2 hours post game...Patsfans users don't give a **** apparently. All the band wagoners have run to the hills apparently
And changing coordinator between year 1 and year 2 would do a disservice to Maye.We know who the Franchise is but You'll see for yourself. A Potentially Great QB can't perform up to his potential with a ****ty OC. Drake is the only player who's putting Fannies in those seats. I expect the Krafts to cater to him 100%.
Because he's a rotational guy being forced into a heavy snap count. That's basically the entire DL except White (and Barmore once he is back in game shape) frankly. Godchaux is a depth guy and so is Wise. And Barmore is the only four tool guy on the list that's plus at both the run and rushing the passer - White still needs work on contain and shedding inside vs the run, Godchaux can't rush, Wise is inconsistent (he's fine as a rotational guy if he's with plus talent) and Pharms and Roy are end of rotation/backups.
You can only play with what you've got. It's where they could've spent money this offseason outside the organization and ceded not to. This is the result. Even if Barmore hadn't had the blood clots they'd be challenged all year as constituted.
A team that just doesn’t know how to win yet.Are the constant one score game losses a byproduct of bad coaching or a roster void of talent?
Even if miscommunication the pass was too high for Pophe did said it was a miscomm. in the pgpc
I think that INT was a miscommunication with Pop.I don't like Drake "I'm giving you one" Maye very much right now. That NEEDs to get ironed out of his system because if it doesn't they ain't going to be winning at a very high level consistently.
Our next Six Opponents are all Playoffs Contenders...we were all but eliminated Today. Thought Maye would have pulled it out but He Don't have the complimentary horses like other Teams. And changing coordinator between year 1 and year 2 would do a disservice to Maye.
The team needs to put playmakers on offense way before changing coordinator. If you can bring talent next year and the offense is still stagnant then yeah you change coordinator.
Mayo isn’t getting fired after year 1 so you have no shot at Ben Johnson.
Yeah I know, thing is I don't know who is right. I was blaming Maye 100 percent, then it was Pop. Then I am looking at the safety coming down and wondering if he did throw it to where pop was going, does he pick it off as well?I think that INT was a miscommunication with Pop.
