To me the real problem is that there is no one person kicking ass at the top of the organization. As an owner you are implicitly taking charge when you are building with inexperienced leadership. You can't go halfway and set the team adrift in the hope that Wolf or Mayo will figure out how to control the ship. RKK pushed BOB on the GOAT HC, yet lets Mayo and Wolf start the season without any real experience in the coaching staff.
So RK should be able to cut his losses quickly, there no way we should pass on Ben Johnson having Maye as a lure.

I hope Kraft is not that loyal, some guys are just coordinators and I feel Mayo might be one of those in the end. It should be all about Maye, get him the Coaching and Players he needs to succeed. What's your take on Nick Caley?? Look at the job he's doing in LA he has nobody's looking better than our best Receivers ie... Robinson and Atwell. To think we had the freaking guy on our Staff.
I don’t know I’m always leery of guys who have a head coach who institutes most of the offensive scheme

No context needed lol…

I would love to see Maye get his first proper win of the season on the road ! I just hope we see some creativity from AVP and the defense can hold their own, I am going to try and stay positive and hope Mayo acts a little more like a head coach on the sideline this Sunday.
My guess is: If AVP ever goes to a paint night.
He would have a painting of a stick figure wearing a top hat

Maye didn't shy away from the idea that beating CW means something.
It would say a lot to bounce back and win this game - in terms of national perception of Maye and the potential of this team going forward.

But if our D doesn't get their heads out of their pumpkins on Run D, nothing matters the rest of this season.
Maye having that older brother-sibling rivalry thing going his whole life
I think he has this game circled to prove his metal

There's really only one positive you can give AVP right now and that's Maye. And then you have to decide how much of that is coaching and how much is just a young talented kid.

Wether it's Mayo, AVP, or Covington I don't want to be giving up on any of them but they each need to show more during the rest of the season or even I might reach for a pitchfork.
I remember when we played some teams. Half way through I would think. Man this team is poorly coached
I get that same sense. Unfortunately. Now it’s us
I’ll give them kudos on the Maye pick. He was the obvious 3rd pick in that draft whomever was picking.
I give them credit for not trading out

Bears will eventually regret taking CW instead of Drake or even Daniels.
Both will be better than CW longterm.
I said this before the draft.
CW will be a decent qb. but not elite.
Maye will be handsdown the best qb in that draft.
Daniels will also be very very good.
CW will be a slightly better version of Kyler Murray.

I love Marcus as a returner and I'd rather see him in the offseason he has elite speed and instincts. CB possibly a slot possibly.. but he's asked to play outside due the ineptitude of Wilson, Austin and bolden.. you know these guys suck when they can't play over a 5'9 guy who's a kick returner. Wade should have been kept around instead he was a budding player.
Austin might be coming back off IR this week. Gotta give your boy another shot.

That is a good rule of thumb. Caley is a bit different because Mayo was able to work directly with him on the Pats. That said, I feel that the Pats should look elsewhere for their OC. He has passed twice on the role, he doesn't want to be here.
