Can KC go 19-0?

I know it's a little early, but their only tough game is in two weeks at Buffalo. If they win there it's pretty doable after that. Their next toughest game will be a home game vs Houston and a road game in Pittsburgh in week 17. After that it's the rest of their division at home with Cleveland and Carolina thrown in.

Can they do it? If they do how would it change the Pats' greatest claims?

It's been amazing how I went from thinking that no team will ever come close to what the Pats have done but here I am a few short years later thinking that the Pats, Brady and Bill could all be looking up at KC, Mahomes and Reid in a few more years.

They haven't even hit their stride yet, so I suppose they just might, as unlikely as such a feat might be. Great coach, best QB in the league, a winning culture, and everybody involved does their job without wasting time holding hands in a Friendship Circle, holding hands, "collaborating."

Toughest games left are Buffalo, Houston, maybe vs Chargers? If they beat Buffalo, I will say they go undefeated. I actually think Detroit would be their stiffest test in a SB. Lions can score like crazy and Campbell doesn't strike me as a guy who gets intimidated easily. To beat KC, you gotta take chances. Detroit is that type of team.

Chiefs are probably due for a bit of a regression, like the 2019 Pats were. They have a top 5 defense but their fundamentals inside their stats aren't that good. Defense is only 15th in takeaways and they're bottom 5 in sacks. A tad higher than league average on 3rd down conversions allowed. Pretty good statistically at stopping the run but they got gashed against the only really good running team they played (Ravens) for almost 200 yards.

Mahomes 8/9 TD/INT obviously isn't sustainable for success either but I don't expect that to continue for much longer.

They're also the least penalized team in the league.
